He opened the clean out in the front of the house and snaked until he got through to the street. I was pleased that he persevered and unclogged the drain. "NCB did a wonderful job with upgrading my washer box and drain. However, when they spliced into the 2" cast iron to the 4" main we found it so clogged up it looked like an artery ready for a heart attack. The Tech on-site took photos so I could see the before the condition in order to make a better informed decision. Replacement was the really the only option, especially since I already had clogging issues where the kitchen sink and washer drain came together before the 4" main. Plus there was a crack in the 4" main tight where this 2" t-ed in. The extra added work was done very well and the added cost was very reasonable. It definitely took care of some of my issues in dealing with old cast iron drains and sewer. I also appreciate their consideration and really pushing so I could make a previously planned appointment later in the afternoon. This allowed me to have my water turned back and tested on at days end and saved a return trip the next day. I feel the original and add-on work were reasonably priced, especially the add-on work."

"The crew did the job, digging up and replacing 40 ft of main water line from the city line to the house, including installation of a pressure reducing valve. Overall COST was pretty expensive for labor considering the PEX tubing for the water line was the pretty much the only parts needed minus the pressure valve. I realize they go by a book that determines cost before work is actually done, though and I agreed to it. Kinda hard to get other estimates when you are in a pickle and need water in your home going asap during the holidays. Job got done and the 2 workers were nice guys. One complaint is I asked if there was a Veteran's Discount and they did include it but it was LESS THAN a 3% discount off the subtotal. Taking a star off for this and another for high labor cost."
