He opened the clean out in the front of the house and snaked until he got through to the street. I was pleased that he persevered and unclogged the drain. I liked being given a very competitive price for my job upfront. My technician, Marcus, arrived on time, patiently answering all my questions about augering my sewer drain. He explained how he was assessing the flow of all my drains and that my main line didn't need to be snaked! "The crew did the job, digging up and replacing 40 ft of main water line from the city line to the house, including installation of a pressure reducing valve. Overall COST was pretty expensive for labor considering the PEX tubing for the water line was the pretty much the only parts needed minus the pressure valve. I realize they go by a book that determines cost before work is actually done, though and I agreed to it. Kinda hard to get other estimates when you are in a pickle and need water in your home going asap during the holidays. Job got done and the 2 workers were nice guys. One complaint is I asked if there was a Veteran's Discount and they did include it but it was LESS THAN a 3% discount off the subtotal. Taking a star off for this and another for high labor cost."
