"Bill was on time, polite and knowledgeable. Scheduling was easy. All was good except that when heater arrived it was too big for the entrance and had to be knocked around a bit to fit through, although it seems to be only superficial damage. (Maybe next time they should measure the area first, and obtain specs on the heater. ?) I am still waiting for the city inspection, and hope it will pass."

"Gavin and Jay did an incredible job for us. We had a complicated situation that posed problems even after the job was complete, and these were quickly and fully addressed. Gavin spent a ton of time with us in order to fully understand and address our issues. He not only installed fantastic equipment, but fixed an issue we’ve had with our pump for 2 years. We couldn’t be more grateful for their help, expertise, and care."

"Both Kade and KC arrived on time.  Went right to work on the problem in the main bathroom.. Very efficient and professional.  They were asked to check the toilet in the master bedroom, which they did. Would definitely use KSM again.  The owner is very professional and has very good plumbers.

"It went very well.   They accomplished all the tasks in the one hour and then went a step further to hang a ceiling fan.     Peter has also given me some feedback on another couple of jobs I want them to do for me.
I feel pretty confident that they can do any job I would ask them to do.

"Two men arrived as expected with all needed tools.  Got the job done quickly and efficiently.  We are very pleased with their work!  Our windows look clear and clean.  They will contact us in 6 months to schedule an exterior cleaning to remove the effects of winter.  Good idea!

Exhaust Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Fan power is measured by CFM, or cubic feet per minute. For every 1,000 feet of square footage in your attic, you need a minimum of 700 CFM. Steeper roofs may need larger fans or about 840 CFM.  You can figure the size of attic fan you need by multiplying the square footage of your attic floor by 0.7. (multiply by 1.2 for a steep roof and 1.15 for a dark roof). That number is the CFM required for your fan to run efficiently.

Mold thrives in wet and humid conditions, and the bathroom can often be an ideal place for it to grow. If you are worried about mold, it's a good idea to hire a local mold inspector to inspect your bathroom.

How you handle the mold depends on the extent of the issue. If it's on the caulk or other surface, a deep cleaning with mold-killing products such as vinegar or bleach may be sufficient. For a large infestation, you'll most likely need professional mold remediation.

Yes, most services include ductwork and venting to ensure adequate airflow. Confirm with your contractor.

Exhaust fans reduce moisture, prevent mold growth, and improve bathroom air quality.

To get rid of humidity in your bathroom, you’ll need to increase ventilation and minimize moisture. Install an exhaust fan or dehumidifier. Crack a window. Remove wet towels and clothing. Wipe down surfaces to reduce standing water or condensation. You can even install an anti-fog mirror. Taking shorter baths and showers can help, too.
