"The work went great. This was the most positive experience I have ever had with a contractor. The quality of MountainSide's work and customer service was outstanding. When MountainSide evaluated my project, they took the time to listen to my concerns, discussed different options for completing the work, and gave me a detailed, written estimate. Unlike the other contractors that gave me estimates, they advised me upfront that part of the work required a city permit - I checked and they were right - and took on the responsibility for getting the permit and complying with all pertinent city ordinances regarding the work. Their work crews showed up on time and did a great job. They were polite and efficient and they took the time to explain what they were doing and why. More importantly, the quality of their work was outstanding and they cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day. Finally, MountainSide's customer service was outstanding. They kept me up-to-date on the status of the city permit, worked with me to schedule the most convenient date for the work, and followed through with me on every step of the project, including the removal of the cones and barricades after the concrete had hardened. I have hired several contractors through the years, and although I have been generally pleased with the work, the quality, efficiency, and level of customer service provided by MountainSide Contractors was absolutely outstanding. The next time I need work done, I will not hesitate to call them. "Went GREAT! I got quotes from 3 different companies. Out of the 3 quotes I received Mike & Martins Asphalt & Paving was more professional, punctual and cost effective than the other 2. Another thing they did that stood out from the rest was the time they took to educate me on the whole process. Never having asphalt done before I had no idea what to expect. After meeting with Mike I felt very informed and comfortable moving forward with the project. The job is complete now and looks great! "The concrete driveway at my home was about 40 years old and had been breaking up for the last decade or so. I knew I had to replace it but I was concerned that doing so would damage the sewer and gas lines that run under the driveway. Then I noticed that Mountain Side was doing some of my neighbors drives so I spoke to them about my concerns. They assured me they could do the work without disturbing the underground utilities. They removed the old concrete WITHOUT using a jackhammer. Safer on the utilities and quieter. I then stress tested my sewer line by filling 2 bath tubs and started them draining them, at the same time I flushed 3 toilets and turned on every faucet in the house. No backup. They then put down some rebar (the old drive did not have rebar) and poured the new drive the next day. I now have a new attractive driveway that my granddaughters can use as a canvas for their chalk art. COST: I checked several other contractors and Mountain Side was on the low side of the average. WORKMANSHIP: Excellent Practically a work of art. CREW: Professional and courteous. They knew what they were supposed to do and did it. NEATNESS: Excellent All construction debris was removed and landscaping on the side of the drive replaced neatly. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Very pleased with the outcome."

Eric even called to let me know he was a little delayed, which was most appreciated and showed respect for me as a customer. The crew was professional and did an excellent job in removing the trees. The stray Elm trees were also removed at my request. Everything was cleaned up and left very neat.
