"I would highly recommend The Basic Basement Company to finish your basement. We contracted with them during fall of 2021 and work was completed in March 2022. They have a lot of clients, so there might be a wait for work to begin. Overall, they were really patient with us and easy to work with. They plan the work carefully with you, giving you valuable suggestions during the planning process. When the work began, they made slight modifications to the plan which allowed us to better utilize our space. The electrician worked with us to place extra outlets for our TV. They also upgraded the lighting to daylight LEDs for a small added cost. They also have a great payment plan -- payments are spaced out over the course of work. Since this was our 1st basement project, we were really concerned about customizing the basement for our family needs. This company really helped. I really don't have any complaints and would recommend you consider them. Note: it can take a couple months for the work to be finished. The same team does not complete everything. Instead, they hire teams of contractors for specific tasks (installing the wood frame, electrical wiring, painting, etc.)"

"We had been looking to renovate a laundry room and an adjacent powder room for several years. The project involved making the laundry room smaller and expanding the powder room to allow for an easy access full shower for an elderly family member with mobility issues. While the available space didn't allow for full ADA shower John Marzano used his decades of experience to plan for maximum use and accessories necessary to meet our needs. John met with us several times and listened to our wants and needs. The workmanship was excellent, the tiling involved large format porcelain tiles for the shower walls that are almost 4' by 4' each. He promised that he would handle it, along with the shower pan, back splash behind the vanity, and the new tile floor. We couldn't be happier, and everyone that has seen it says it's the best tiling work they have ever seen. Same accolades go for the carpentry work, placement of the grab bars and and shower fixtures. His advice was spot on from the planning phase to project completion. In short, we would absolutely use him again and would recommend him with 100% confidence to our friends and family."
