The project could not have gone better. Phil found a way to fit us in because a recent rainstorm continued to cause some water issues. He was on time for the job, worked efficiently, was sure to lay down materials to protect our home, and cleaned everything up. He explained the work he was doing and listened to my thoughts/concerns. He completed the job on schedule. Shortly after he finished the job, a pretty major rainstorm hit. Phil called just to check in that all was okay, and it was - the basement was completely dry. Extremely (extremely) pleased with the work, and would recommend to absolutely anyone needing basement waterproofing

Everything went great!. Larry walked us through the process from the initial visit through the estimate and through the work being done. He was there the first day the work started to go over any last minute questions and to make sure the crew knew exactly what to do. He called throughout the work being done to ensure everything was going according to plan. And they don't take final payment until they inspect the work was done at an exceptional level. We recommend them for any basement work

Working with Finally Dry was wonderful. First, they respond to emails and texts so quickly! When they arrive for an estimate, there's no hard sell, just a look at the basement and an explanation of what is needed. The installers were wonderful and went above and beyond to be sure the outside drain line was buried and looked good. They even cleaned up each day after their work. While no one likes to poor money into their unfinished basement, I feel I got a good price and very good work. Haven't had a huge storm since installed, but I'll update if there's an issue

The inspection went very, very well. Bob, an experienced, professional contractor, did the inspection and serviced the pump. He was very thorough. He cleaned the crock, tightened valves, pumped out old water, ran a couple pails of water into the pit to conduct a pump test. Bob filled the pit with water to check how well it was draining and determined that the pump operated smoothly the way it is suppose to. I am relieved and glad that Paradigm offered this $49 deal

I felt so confident in my salesperson’s level of knowledge & level of sincerity that I didn’t bother getting other quotes. This is rare for me. The salesperson, Dave Shiflette came out for an initial visit & advised me to address external gutter & drainage issues before addressing it from the inside. He advised me to first try to keep water away from my basement before spending money to redirect it away. This earned my trust- big time!!! I addressed the above ground issues & still got water in my basement. It was time to admit defeat, accept that it was due to hydrostatic pressure (water coming in below underneath foundation), and call in the experts! The crew was great! The foreman updated me during every major step. Things were clean for the most part. I don’t hold the crew responsible for dirt & minor mud because they had to go to/from mud due to recent rain. Still- There is room for improvement on the dust area. I felt so confident in my salesperson’s level of knowledge & level of sincerity that I didn’t bother getting other quotes. This is rare for me. The foreman updated me during every major step. Things were clean for the most part. I don’t hold the crew responsible for dirt & minor mud because they had to go to/from mud due to recent rain. There’s a bit of improvement to be left in the dirt/dust area, though. It’s my only gripe. I did have to run my shop vac through furniture & other materials throughout two floors affected. Again- we did have rain beforehand, but we did provide a clear clean driveway access to minimize dirt entry into our home. On to more important matters… It rained for 4+ days about 7 days after our install. We’d normally get about 200- 500 gallons of water in our finished basement during such a storm. We got zero water puddles above ground during the storm!!! I did panic because no water made its way to the sump pump well, while we got a few wet spots on the above-ground area. These “wet spots” were just damp areas in the concrete. They weren’t puddles of water. I panicked & sent messages to our salesperson. He forwarded to management. They sent out their most experienced foreman who determined the the system was working (after testing & showing me a live result with a water hose pumping water through the area of concern). The verdict: concrete takes 30 days to fully cure. The spots haven’t cured yet! I was so relieved!!! The system works! My days of torture in the basement are over! My instincts to go with the salesperson were right!!! I’d like to thank Jay for assuring me that they are a family business that cares about clients, cares for their customers & STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!! I give these guys a perfect rating!!

  • Basement Gurus

You have found the right place if you're looking for a sincere, trustworthy, and top-tier quality establishment! From the start, the initial scheduling phone call to Basement Gurus was delightful; the receptionist was very polite & friendly. On appointment day, Dan (the owner) was also pleasant. He was on time, easy to talk to, listened to all my concerns with water management around my property with outstanding attentiveness, and thoroughly devised a well-thought-out plan to address all of my problems. Dan didn't try to upsell me or undercut issues to get a sale. He only recommended what I needed for that moment & for the future to mitigate any further water problems. During the assessment, I couldn't help but get overwhelmed by the amount of work he started suggesting (while also getting that queasy homeowner feeling that I might have to spend a fortune on this), but his estimate surprised me. It was so reasonable for the amount of work needed that I had no difficulties going for it! What made it even better was that Dan could get me on the calendar for a rapid project start date. The team that conducted all the physical labor was respectful, polite, considerate of my home, and some of the hardest workers I had ever met. Even after a long day of back-breaking toil, they still made time to walk me around the work sites to see if it was up to my expectation. Dan would even periodically stop by to ensure the progress was up to his satisfaction, which reassured me throughout the entire process. I took even more solace knowing that Dan backs his company's work-up. He made it very clear that I let him know even after job completion if something was not to my liking. He takes tremendous pride in the longevity & quality of the work, which I respect a lot. Massive shoutouts to Dan, Zeus, Zeus's brother, Frank, the rest of the labor crew, and the office admin team. No need to look at any other companies. Basement Gurus is it! ☝🏼👍

The team at Aqua Dry was knowledgeable, transparent, professional, and efficient. They took alot of time to educate us on industry standards and their system and quality of materials used. They made sure to check in to show us progress along the way and were patient to answer all questions we had. They began the job very soon after inspection, too. They cleaned up well after finishing. Our basement was wet and musty with crumbling parged walls and now it's dry & clean! Their longevity in the industry speaks to their quality and the way they do business. Would recommend to any family member or friend
