"I am very happy with the service provided by CC Tree Experts. They will be the first company I call for this service from now on. 1) Responsive. They were the first ones out with a quote (within a day). My prior service took a week to get a guy out. 2) Fair. Of the quotes I got, they had a fair price.. no over charging. 3) Efficient. On the day of, they were running by 8 am with all vehicles and tools. They were basically done by 11:30. 4) Safe. I watched them slice and dice a tall old tree with control and precision. 5) Clean. The tree and area was chocked with overgrowth and vines. They navigated it all and left the ground clean and debris free. It did take 3 weeks to get work started. I blame that on their high demand. Book early."

Small jobs welcome

"They removed 3 trees from my backyard. They were on time and worked very hard until the job was done. I was very impressed with the cleanup. They removed all of the debris, raked the lawn and used a leaf blower all to make sure the area was cleaned up."

"Excellent. If they don't answer the phone when you call. They call you back immediately. It's easy to set up an appointment and they've always had a great response time. This is the 3rd season I've used them for sprinklers and will do so every year. I plan on using them for leaves as well this year.

"Communication with me concerning the time of project was excellent. The owner is friendly and courteous. The men were extremely hard-working. The true test was when one of their machines broke (there was just a small stump grinding remaining) and they said they would come back to finish. I paid them thinking they wouldn't return but they did come back within a week, which really impressed me. I would definitely hire this company and recommend them to friends!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

It depends on where you live—but in most areas, leaves begin falling in September and continue falling until January or February. Warmer regions, such as Southern states, may see leaves fall a bit later in the calendar year. It also depends on the type of trees in your yard and their maturity.

There are a few general rules to follow that will help you prune your trees correctly. One of the most important rules is to prune during the correct season for the type of tree you have. Typically, pruning should be during late winter. For younger trees, you should not remove more than a ⅓ of the tree's crown when pruning. Also, remember to remove dead and diseased branches first, then proceed with pruning the rest of the tree.

The amount of time it takes for a tree trunk to rot depends on several factors, including the tree’s size, species, and environmental conditions. It can take anywhere from a few years to several decades for a tree’s trunk to rot. A tree stump, on the other hand, can take up to 10 years to disappear after it’s decayed naturally.

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.

Aside from removing dead or diseased branches, you should prune your trees somewhere between every one and three years. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years.
