"I’ve been a customer of Wilber’s for several years. Up till now I’ve always found them to be reasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don’t know what’s happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber’s decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It’s sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it’s certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with."

"Make your life easy - just hire Robert Johannemann & Sons for your new roof and don't waste time getting lots of other quotes from other roofing contractors. Robert is extremely good at what he does & has a fantastic crew working with him. His quote was the best one we got; & just a week after we met, my new roof was completely done. His professionalism is exceptional, there was no pressure to do more work than I thought my old house needed & the final bill was exactly what we agreed upon. He has an incredible piece of machinery to collect all the old shingles, and I'd never work with a roofer who does not have this. It's a tractor with a small dumpster on it that is raised right up to the roof they are working on. This means thousand of pounds of shingles are NOT thrown down to CRUSH your landscape and lawn. Nobody spends all day picking up junk on the ground; the whole crew is laying down new shingles instead. So Robert finishes quickly & does a great job at a real fair price!"
