When I was considering mulch rather than seed he said a similar thing “I don’t even think mulch will work with all the thistle you have.” I found Pierce to be very knowledgeable in addressing issues that came up throughout the project, and very efficient. I checked him on the cost of each phase of the project, and I always found his number reasonable. He is a bit of a perfectionist - he wants things done the right way. But the result has been worth it. I now have a beautiful lawn and steps where before there was nothing. He has even followed up with me several times since to check on how the lawn is progressing. "In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."
