"We have owned five houses over the years and used contractors in every one. We only wish that we could have used Linholm LLC in every one. Scott and his son Kris were the ultimate professionals from the first design discussion to the final inspection walk through. We selected Scott Lindholm out of several contractors because of several factors including cost, quality of work and references, customer service and his knowledge of local building codes and personnel. Scott's passion and commitment for doing quality work was evident from our first design meeting with him and he and his son delivered on that commitment. We don't believe that we have EVER had a contractor be as punctual as Scott and Kris. If they said they'd be at your house by 8am, you could set your clock by it. Their approach to customer service and communication was the best we have ever experienced. Not only did Scott give us daily updates, but we got several pictures each day detailing their progress. Scott's commitment to helping us informed us about our projects status went well beyond the call of duty. Scott was extremely flexible with us regarding design changes to our 3 season room and he offered his advice and guidance to ensure we got the best quality at the most suitable cost. We incorporated several of his suggestions into our final design. Scott and Kris couldn't have been more respectful regarding our privacy during the project. At the end of each day they cleaned up the yard so that our family could use the yard. All of their interactions with us and our family were very courteous and pleasant. He treated us like family and offered to help us in ways we never expected. For example, he helped us find a home for our Sunsetter awning that was over our original deck, which saved us from listing it on EBay or Craig's list. But at the end of the day, it always comes down to quality of working and both Scott and Kris knew only one way to do the work....the right way. One day Scott and Kris had completed some work around the door area in our addition. The next morning when Scott came back to their work, he wasn't satisfied and showed me why. To be honest, I would have never have noticed that particular item wasn't perfect, but he shared that it wasn't and he and Kris re-worked it to make sure it was right. I grew up in a German family of carpenters and builders and it reminded me of how my father and uncles treated their work. They took a lot of pride in the quality of their work and they wouldn't settle for second best. If they were going to do a job, they were going to do it right! Scott and Kris have the same commitment with their work. In summary, if we ever need any additional work on our shore house, it will be done by Scott and Kris. They have earned our trust because they always did what they said they would do and they treated us liked they cared about our outcome. The water damaged was caused by the contractor of the builder who negligently did not install the proper flashing on my exterior bricks and did not put flashing tape around my windows. The first contractor that I hired to do the job was unresponsive. Then I looked at HomeAdvisor and got Angel. He was on time, and he is so knowledgeable and honest. A beautiful counter was built between our new open kitchen and dining room, both recessed lights and pendants were installed as well as new flooring. One reason I decided to use this builder is that Harry has the ability to take care of every aspect of the project. He and his workers are skilled with carpentry, plumbing, flooring, painting and excellent tile work. He outsourced the electrical, new HVAC and granite to quality people. Because Harry has done so many similar jobs, he gives appropriate guidance as to what styles, colors, etc. would work best. For instance, he basically rearranged our expanded bathroom and it looks great. Overall, we are glad we selected Harry and his crew at the Bathroom and Kitchen King."
