"They did exactly what I requested. Cut a dead tree down, but leave a 5' stump. Very professional work ethic. This is the only tree service company I will use. Yes, I'm very pleased with the service"

"Jason and his crew have been taking care of my trees for a few years. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They provide a fair estimate. Jason visits beforehand, addresses all concerns, and answers all questions. I trust him with the care of my mature trees and they always look beautiful after a professional pruning. Very impressive staff and company."

"Called, quick quote and showed up on day promised and let the site cleaned up. Had no luck with just calling around and hired him via home advisor. Good experience I showed a picture of the trees and that was sufficient to get a good quote."

"Removed a tree on the side of my house that would hit it when the wind would blow and chip shingles off of my new roof, also trimmed some other trees that were chipping the shingles as well. They were great! Cleaned up everything as well as walked the job with me when finished. I will definitely be using them again as there are some more trees that I will need removed in the future, and I will also recommend them to my clients for any tree work as I am a realtor and work with a lot of foreclosed homes. Thanks!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Depending on the severity of the damage, a tree might continue healing for years after a split or a break. Saplings can usually bounce back in the spring in one or two seasons, but larger trees might take a few years to regain their former strength. If your tree is showing strong growth and is not dropping limbs, you can consider it healed after the first two seasons.

Costs depend on tree height, trunk diameter, removal complexity, and required equipment.

Generally, no, tree topping isn’t a good technique, and you should avoid using it in most cases. Tree topping may be the only good option to save a tree following severe damage after a storm, but in most other cases, it’s not the right choice. Tree topping can leave trees vulnerable to disease and further damage, and most pros will suggest against it.

You will know that an oak tree needs to be removed when you see vertical cracks or dead branch stubs, which indicate internal decay. Other signs include trunk rot near the base of the tree and sprouts or small branches coming from the trunk.

Transplanting a palm tree is a similar process except for a couple of important differences. First, their root ball doesn’t need to be as large as a “true” tree, which makes them a bit easier to dig up and move around. Second, they struggle more with taking root and staying upright in a new location, so it’s important to give them extra support when staking.
