"I live in a house that is over 100 years old with a stone foundation that also forms the basement walls. The old mortar between the stones had deteriorated over the years to the point that water would seep in in multiple places along the perimeter of the basement wall. This seepage basically occurred after every rain, and I always needed to move objects stored in the basement away from the perimeter for fear that they would be water damaged. I actually wasn’t very confident that the seepage problem could be fixed, but I finally decided to contact several basement contractors to determine if there was anyway to waterproof the basement. "We used Merryfield for this siding project, which was part of a kitchen remodel.  Our contractor did not specialize in siding and asked that we have the work performed by someone else.  We needed siding installed where a window was being eliminated to make room for additional cabinets.  The process was easy for this project, from estimate to completion.  They worked within the requests of our kitchen contractor and the work was done quickly.  The siding on our house is old and not readily available.  Merryfield was able to source the replacement siding even after we were told by another company that this was not possible.
