They cleaned up all of the debris and left the basement in great shape. "This was a longstanding leak worked by several contractors over the years. AJT said sensible things and did sensible things and, knock on wood, it's finally fixed. I've had half a dozen people out on it over the years. The leak was in a second floor kitchen, under a dormer for a third floor kitchen. AJT came out and said they need to send a crew out to spray water on the roof and see if it would leak. First people to offer that. No joy, no charge. Just before Christmas 2018 we got a 24 hour rainstorm that was enough to get the roof leaking. They came back, poked a hole in the second floor ceiling, poked a hole in the third floor kitchen wall and found water leaking through the wall from the roof over the third floor and through to the second. No sign on the third floor. They installed an new roof on the 6x10 foot flat roof on the third floor dormer. Said the old roof was too short (it may have shrunk, predates my time owning the house). Came through the latest storm without a problem. Thoroughly impressed by how clean the second floor kitchen was after they had to take a load of cellulose insulation in the face opening the ceiling."

"The storm that hit Monmouth County on 7/22/19 caused a voltage spike in my home.It ruined the compressor in my air conditioner. When the repair tech came to my home on 7/23/19 the voltage was still very high. Artic Air ordered a new compressor. When it was delivered to them, they contacted me to let me know it was in. They could install it if the voltage was low enough. They were able to determine that the voltage was acceptable, and they installed the compressor that day. Artic Air went out of their way to keep me informed of their progress every step of the way. Their service was excellent, The Parts Manager was especially helpful."

We interviewed 5 businesses before selecting American A-1, as they were the only ones who came up with a solution for our problem. Through the whole process they were responsive and professional. The team that came and did the work was also great. They were on time, finished on schedule, were courteous and professional. They did a great job. I had some questions afterwards and Lou was always available to answer them. Most importantly the work was completed several months ago and we haven't had water in the basement since. The price was very fair. i would hire them again in a second."
