Please read below: I was told by another HVAC company that my compressor was dead and that I needed a new central AC unit which they quickly gave me a quote of $5k for the replacement. I called Garden State to get a second quote and Trevor (the owner) came over. Rather than immediately talking about pricing and options for a new unit (like the other company did), he asked me why the other company thought I needed a new unit. He asked if he could take a look at it and I said sure. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor, not compressor and replaced it. It only cost me $300.00!!! This guy is honest as the day is long and has unbelievable integrity. My AC and furnace units are over 10 years old and will more than likely need replacing in the next couple of years. Garden State will get my business and I will tell all my neighbors and friends about them as well."
