The person in the office was helpful and gave me an appointment for next day in a 2-hour window. The technician arrived on time and was courteous and careful of my home. The price paid for the work done was very fair and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

This contractor replaced my old central A/C with a new Lennox unit in 2013. Contractor did not file permit with the township at the time. When I applied for the permit, townships inspector requested to replace the breaker as the one installed by the company did not comply with the code. I called Garden and asked to send someone to replace the breaker, the technician showed up and did not have the right breaker, so I had to order one and replace it myself. Two years after the original installation, coil was leaking and it was replaced. However, the same happened again recently - leaking coil. It seems that every two years I ended up paying ~ $350 for the freon...

Garden State did a great job. Steven came out on time, was very professional and detail oriented. His communication about the issue and his diagnosis were clear and easy to understand. Would definitely recommend.

I received a call from Garden State minutes after I posted on the Home Advisor website. I explained the problem and an appointment was set up for that afternoon to perform the repair. Garden State communicated well with me throughout the day and I was able to time leaving work and reaching home minutes before their repairman arrived. He was able to complete the repair in under two hours and charged a very reasonable price to perform the work. It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Garden State Energy for gas furnace repair work.

I needed to have somebody come and check on my furnaces before the winter kicks in. I found this company here on Home Advisor. Setting an appointment was easy. They called back to follow up. The tech came within the agreed to time window. He was very good. Checked on both my furnaces, changed filters, etc. On one furnace the condensate pump was broken, so he replaced it. He documented everything to make sure that next time he comes he knows ahead of time what kind of equipment I have, and what if anything there is there to pay attention to. All in all it was a very good experience. The tech came on time, did everything I needed and then some. I will recommend this company.

Redid our entire AC system in one day under very hot conditions. Very professional and neat.

They were excellent! Came out in a timely manner by fitting me into their schedule when I called late on a day I happened to be home from work. My unit was not draining producing a leak inside my home. I live on a slab so my hallway was flooding. I believe his name was Seth took apart my furnace side of the AC cleaned and blew out the drain pipe. Discovered the pipe had a split in it. Although he didn't have the older 1/2" pipe with him, it was a quick fix for me to perform. I was charged for the service call only which I had expected. Also the service call is I think $99 when I mentioned I received lower quotes from others on Home Advisor the dispatcher without hesitation mentioned that they do have a coupon although I didn't have one she would apply it to my call saving an additional I think $30 I forget exactly how much.They were awesome. Thanks again!

Hire this Company for your HVAC needs! Please read below: I was told by another HVAC company that my compressor was dead and that I needed a new central AC unit which they quickly gave me a quote of $5k for the replacement. I called Garden State to get a second quote and Trevor (the owner) came over. Rather than immediately talking about pricing and options for a new unit (like the other company did), he asked me why the other company thought I needed a new unit. He asked if he could take a look at it and I said sure. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor, not compressor and replaced it. It only cost me $300.00!!! This guy is honest as the day is long and has unbelievable integrity. My AC and furnace units are over 10 years old and will more than likely need replacing in the next couple of years. Garden State will get my business and I will tell all my neighbors and friends about them as well.

Trevor diagnosed the problem correctly and fixed it quickly. There was a misunderstanding about pricing, but Trevor corrected it.

I was very happy with their communication, work and price. I cant rate quality because I have not needed the AC system yet. If i remember ill write back when it is above 95 when I should really thank them.

I got their call 5 minutes after I submitted the request via HomeAdvisor. The customer service was very courteous and the technician was very professional. Their annual service contract is reasonably priced and all the paperwork is well documented.
