"This is the second time we've hired John. He's responsive, punctual and very easy to work with. He cleans the work area daily and his work is impeccable. Before installation of the brick, he had to remove a Corian backsplash. This was his first brick backsplash and we couldn't be happier. "Doc was very helpful on the phone, and came by to give an estimate promptly. He was also much more immediately responsive than others I contacted, some of whom never called back or called back 1-2 weeks later.
He described what needed to happen to replace the shower pan, and provided price options for either installing a new fiberglass pan or doing the whole pan area in custom tile. He was also clear up front that he had to cut through the bottom part of the wall tile to do this work, and that there was a chance it could not be salvaged.
When he found that there was just sheetrock under the wall tile, he told us it had to go regardless?and I am thankful we discovered that when we did, before it caused tons of water damage. Doc then re-quoted the job to include the full tile work.  
Doc was friendly, communicated well about the project, and did great work. He does take a bit of time to complete a project (he doesn't rush, which is probably better for quality!), but you're never left hanging about when he's coming back. I would definitely hire him again.

"Excellent! I can't say enough good things about this project. We live in a 1920 Dutch Colonial, our walkway was falling apart. Miguel gave us samples to look at that would match our front Brick porch. The brickyard he sent us to allowed us to bring samples home to compare. He ordered what we wanted and within 4 days began the project. He came early in the morning and stayed well into the evening and completed the job in 2 days from demolition and removal of the old walk to the installation of the new one. He seeded the lawn that edged it. We selected him because he a patio and driveway and walkway for our nextdoor neighbors. We've lived here since 1974 and people trust the contractors we use. We highly recommend him and we always like to hire local owner operated businesses. For an additional fee he planted 2 trees in the front of the house. We are very satisfied."
