"Worst experience and lack of professionalism ever. Never seen such poor quality of work. Two month job took almost 7 months. Never came back to my house to fill hole they left under foundation where rodents gained access or return the gravel back there. Used the wrong materials on grading the roads so they're already sinking. Ruined my driveway. Scraped away the stone dust and crushed stone to gain access to side yard. Every time it rains, cheap road sand pours into my driveway, further eroding it, and draining several inches of this sand into my flower beds. Apparently, the $300 it would cost Jake to come back and return the driveway to its original state, is just not important enough to him. I hope it ends up costing him his reputation because I plan on leaving reviews everywhere including social media. Maybe you'll learn something from this experience."

Why is my irrigation pump not pulling water?

There are a few reasons your irrigation pump isn’t pulling in water. You could have a clogged suction filter. You may have not properly primed your pump so air got stuck somewhere in the system. Your pump also won’t work properly if it has faulty or damaged pump components, like a pump motor or pressure switch.

You should check water pressure twice a year to ensure there aren’t any irregularities and that it isn’t too high. It’s also smart to check it any time you notice symptoms of high water pressure (like banging pipes, inconsistent water flow, and leaky fixtures). Similarly, if you live in an area that’s prone to water pressure fluctuations due to municipal supply changes, elevation, or seasonal temperature shifts, check it more frequently. Sputtering water and a constant fluctuation of water pressure from your household faucets and fixtures are the main red flags that something bad is brewing with your well pump. The fix could be as simple as restarting the power or priming the pump, especially if the trouble is occurring after a power outage. However, if troubleshooting the power and pressure of your pump does not get things up and running again, it might be time to replace the pump.

A larger well pressure tank won’t improve water pressure on its own. However, bigger tanks don’t have to cycle as often as smaller ones, which reduces the amount of stress on your well system. As a result, a bigger tank can last longer and might experience fewer well pump issues that could impact your water pressure.
