Showed up right around the appointment time
Diagnosed failing well pump. It was still working but had shutoff once earlier in the week and also allowed a large amount of air to enter the water system. Showed me fluctuating amperage readings on multimeter and fact that there was also some amount of short to ground in the system.
Provided free quote to replace the pump with NO high pressure to do it immediately. Also gave honest feedback on newer and quot;constant pressureand quot; systems that many well providers are pushing for big $$$.
Quote was for well pump replacement only but told me that wiring may also need replacement due to rubbing and would be another added price per foot.
When asked for a timeframe he told me he could do it today, next week or whenever. Again..no high pressure sales or and quot;oversellingand quot;.
Had him do it that day which he promptly did.
Showed me rubbed sections of wiring that had bare spots and recommended replacement at that time.
Took him and a helper about 3 hours.
Well area was left clean and there was no mess or sign that they were even there.
Overall a good experience and would recommend. I gave the pricing a B because I'm not sure if there are cheaper providers out there but I know there are more expensive ones.
