"This was a complicated job comprised of about 30 large trees in adjoining backyards with multiple dwellings in close proximity. The Kucharski brothers, their tree climber and crane operator somehow managed to complete the entire job in one day and left the area clean and undamaged. Very personable and reasonably priced! Would recommend them highly."

"I had an excellent experience with Leafy Tree Care and would not hesitate to recommend them. Scheduling was flexible and easy to coordinate, which made a big difference for me. They arrived exactly when they said they would and immediately got to work. The work ethic was impressive; Leaf worked hard all day without cutting corners and stayed focused until the job was done. The owner, Leaf Spyropoulos, really stood out. He was friendly, courteous, and took a genuine interest in making sure everything was done right. That kind of personal attention is rare and shows in the quality of the work. The cost was very competitive, especially considering the level of care and effort involved. I felt I received excellent value in both workmanship and professionalism. It is rare to find a vendor you can truly trust to do quality work, but Leafy Tree Care is exactly that kind of company. I would gladly hire them again and recommend them without reservation."

"I am very happy with the work the Marquis team did for me. Three people; one is a woman. I applaud hiring women for this type of work; thank you, Marquis. They did exactly what I wanted done; the correct amount of trimming of big branches to open up more light on my deck and stop leaves and birds from making a mess throughout the year. I did not have to tell the crew what to do; they are the professionals and did a great job. I will be recommending Marquis to others; their quote came in much lower than other arborists; and I was very pleased with the result. GOOD value. Good cleanup."

"These guys are amazing. Kept in phone contact to schedule. Arrived when they said. Professional crew. Great team work. It took them 2 hours from the time they arrived to when they pulled out. Would hardly know they had been here except for the tree being gone. And this tree was huge - 5-foot diameter trunk. Would hire them again."

Customers say: Quick response

"Bryan and his crew were recommended by my neighbor after he had several trees removed. The crew showed up with the specialized equipment needed to remove trees that caused problems every winter once loaded with snow and leaning on power lines or my garage. They did a great job as well as clean up and I would also recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.

The best pro to hire for spraying trees is a tree maintenance specialist. These pros are well-versed in selecting the right spray treatment and applying it properly to ensure there’s no collateral damage to the tree or surrounding landscape. Many tree maintenance services employ certified arborists, but for these routine visits, the extra investment usually isn’t necessary.

Not all leaning trees are dangerous, but they can be a hazard as gravity may eventually cause them to fall. A key factor is whether the lean is new or has been present for a long time. Trees that have grown with a lean for years are not typically an immediate danger, but a sudden lean is a cause for concern as it often indicates weakening roots. If a tree is leaning more than 15% from vertical, you should consider having it straightened or transplanted. To be safe, it's always best to hire a professional arborist to inspect any leaning tree to assess the risk and avoid potential accidents.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.
