"Kucharski is the best! I had three huge oak trees that were starting to rot at the base and were within striking distance of the house. I contacted three tree services to get a quote. The first two came over, looked at the trees, and gave me a quote. When I told them that I wanted to keep the wood they both said, “No problem, but that doesn’t change the price.” When Bill Kucharski came over he looked at the trees, walked around the property, and gave me a quote. All three quotes were comparable. When I told him I wanted to keep the wood, he said, “Oh, good. We won’t have to charge you for taking it away.” (By the way, I got 5 cords of wood from those trees and that’s multiple trips.) Then he said, “If you want us to broadcast the chips from the chipper into the woods we won’t have to charge you for hauling those away either.” That did it for me. Sign me up! In a few weeks his sons and their crew came over and took down the trees being very careful not to damage the property and not to let the logs roll down the hill. (Did I mention I live on a hill?) When they were done I was left with beautiful logs with no branches and they cleared away all the sawdust. Everyone was very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable when it came to taking down trees. I ended up hiring them again to take down another tree and I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

Watching them do their thing is like watching a well oiled machine. They cut down all the trees I wanted and executed it in a safe and controlled manner. "Shaun gave us an estimate to remove 3 maples, a black cherry tree and grind one stump in our backyard. One of the trees was close to a smaller maple, which we wanted to keep and there was no damage to it after the tree removal. Shaun set up the crane on the street in front of our house. Eric and Dave drove up with the chipper equipment. Shaun and Eric worked on the tree cutting and lifted the trees right over our house, letting them down in a side street. Dave fed the large tree chunks right into the chipper. The whole operation was done in about 2 hours. They cleaned up perfectly and you could hardly tell they were here except for some sawdust. Less than 2 weeks later a truck pulled up with two guys who proceeded to grind the one stump. They also did a wonderful job. Everyone did a great job and we were very satisfied. We will hire McDonough again if we need more trees removed. We will also recommend them to all our neighbors."

No regrets whatsoever now that the job is done. Dylan & crew arrived per plan, stayed with it until done and cleaned up when finished, even some of the debris that was there before.
