"I have owned rentals properties in Lincoln for over a decade and I have hired a lot of contractors to do a myriad of work for the houses over the years. Thrasher has hands down been the best company I have ever hired. From the very first day I called them, they were the most professional, polite, and honest people I have ever seen. When Trevor came out to see what needed to be done (a leaking egress window, which was improperly installed by another company, Thrasher was there to fix their mistakes) he gave the most in-depth analysis of what the problem was I have ever seen. I had two other companies come and look at the same problem, one of which did not even go into the basement and gave me a cookie cutter answer. After Trevor told me what the problem was, he went in-depth on how they would fix it. He had brought a laptop in that showed me the exact products they would be installing, how it was installed, cost and everything in the most professional way I have ever seen, and this was on the spot! Once the work began they laid down plastic over the stairs, through the kitchen and to the garage to keep the house clean. Not only that, but they also turned off the HVAC system and covered it! Something I would have never even thought of. Again, the workers were polite and courteous, cleaned up after themselves and left the place in better condition than when they started. All in all, I cannot give them any higher of a praise. I hope that I never need their services again, but if I ever have a problem that they specialize in, they will be my first and only phone call for the repairs. "They e-mailed to inform us of the status of the order we placed with them on November 5, 2012 and gave us updates and estimated installation dates. We received phone calls to arrange our installation date. They arrived promptly on the morning of that date and diligently worked for two days to complete most of the removal of old and installation of new items. The drywall was too wet to sand at the end of the second day which was Friday. Two different employees returned to complete the drywall work and finish the caulking. Protective tarps were used to protect our carpeting and steps and they cleaned up the dust after each visit. I am completely satisfied with our new bathroom and would recommend this company to others!

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
