It went amazing from the sales man all the way to the crew. They were awesome. On time and we're mindful that we had small children running around so they did the bedrooms first so that they could still play. I was impressed and would recommend them to everyone.

The workers and their workmanship was great. Unfortunately they were three hours late.

I was treated respectfully. I dealt with four different people, but they were all connected with each other. Each person had a different responsibility. The person who presented the windows to me showed me samples, had a presentation ready with photographs, and helped to get me financed. I was assured they did not want me to pay until after the service was complete. I was always kept in the loop as to when the windows were ready, and when changes to my order had to be made because of the way my house was built. The windows are the finest quality, and I was very excited to show them off. The staff was friendly and punctual. I was shown how to operate my windows, and the installation staff worked tirelessly for several hours to install the windows and clean up. The service was followed with a phone call to be sure I was satisfied.

They did such a good job with fixing the things that went wrong, and they came back out and install some more. Everything is fantastic. I kind of shopped around for prices but I would give that an A anyway. They're really sound proof, they're made by the company I recommend that for everyone. It's always top notch. Everything with this company is an A its absolutely an A. You bet I would use them again, I have more to do and they're my provider.

Has done a great job for me it’s one of the companies I would recommend. They done an excellent job and we've done it before they came and fixed some problems we had with no questions ask I would recommend 5 star. They charged me nothing to fix the problems that were wrong, and I purchased more windows with them because of that. Absolutely top notch all the way their price was competitive with everybody else there so I thought that was really great. On quality, actually you don't have an A plus but I would put A plus on that. On responsiveness, was another A actually. Everything is an A with them they have done everything I've asked and always got back to me in a really reasonable time. I would absolutely use them again, I have more windows to do and they are on the list right there I'm going to call them. To be honest if I was wanting you to get some windows I would recommend them as top grade. You know what they came out in one day and had everything done. They had everything cleaned up absolutely top notch. There was only one gentleman he was in charge and he did all of it his self and he's top notch. They're top notch actually.

It was one big giant piece of glass, it was 7 feet tall by 5 feet wide. It’s a big front window and I want it to be able to open and close. What I had couldn’t. They looked at it, they measured it, they gave us the options. They gave us the whole spew, “our windows have this special”, you know. They asked the size of it, they can’t sell us cheap. The whole thing was just great. We were good with the price and they asked us if we wanted to do more windows. They counted all the windows we had and said, “well, if you want me to look and see how much all the windows would be. They were very professional, they were good, they had a reasonable price. Then we had another company come out and they were a lot higher. They were great, everything was great.  I think it was three men that came, there might have been another one out there, but I remember seeing three. Overall Rating: I give them a “B” because the follow up wasn’t that good. Once they came and did the job I asked them about something, because there’s a little like mark in the window and they didn’t come by. When I called them a couple of months later because there was kind of a hole in the screen probably a bug. They didn’t call me for 8 months. Their follow up was a little weak.  Price Rating: I say an “A” because I couldn’t find anything less. The other price I got was like $3,200. I had no problem with the quality of the work, everything was great. There was responsiveness afterwards. They did a great job, I would recommend them, it was just the follow up was long.

It went very well. The only reason it didn't get finished on time was due to weather. Nothing they could help.

Extremely well! The salesman was on-time, informative, polite, patient, and answered every question I had. The installer worked non-stop, by himself, and replaced all the windows, trimmed them out, cleaned up EVERYTHING, and was gone in 2 days. He was polite and friendly and obviously had a lot of experience. The exterior trim matches the house perfectly and neighbors/friends comment on the professional work done. We have had a spell of windy, hot weather for the past 8 days. I usually set my air conditioner on 72. . . this summer it is on 78 and as cool as I want it to be. I had a great experience with the company and would recommend American Exteriors for people considering window replacement.

The job went smoothly. The installers were so professional, and Tom was amazing. He was able to answer all my questions when I kept interrupting him as he worked. I was very impressed with him.

Good. The follow up to the first days work was a little disjointed. The finishing touches in the house were a little too hurried for my taste. Overall a good experience.

They showed at the time scheduled and finished that same day. The installers did not have the plugs needed where the screws protruded and said they would return. After they left, we noticed nearly all the windows leaked greatly. They were coming back --soon--I assumed from conversation on day of installation. I ended up calling the company several times before getting a response besides that they will take care of it to my satisfaction. They finally sent a guy to look at them, and he agreed that they were not installed well. He said the windows needed to be removed and re-insulated and then rewrapped. They sent another guy who also said they needed to be redone, but it would be a 6-hour job, and he couldn't do it that day. They sent a third guy who caulked for 30 minutes and said he'd be back in a week to finish because he did not bring the materials he needed. Two no-shows later (and two months since installation), and I am still waiting for them to correct the installation. I would not recommend this company.

I have used Pat three times. He is always early to arrive on the job site. He is very knowledgeable and reliable. He is professional and does a great job.I highly recommend his services.

Very well! They did a good job, they cleaned up after themselves and they were here when they said they were going to be.

The salesman talked to us. He had windows to show us and was not high pressure. The two guys that installed it were very professional and even left their number so we contact them in case of anything.

Installation was fast, efficient, and installers were friendly and punctual.  Cleaned up after well.  Really feel the difference and has reduced heat/air costs. 

It all started out with a gentlemen showing up at our door asking if we wanted a quote on replacement windows.  We'd been thinking about it so we said "Yes".  We received a call from American Exteriors and they scheduled a meeting at our home.  But the salesperson was running late and they called us 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment time and said he couldn't make it.  We rescheduled to another evening.
The salesperson came to our home and was very personable.  He talked about the windows and showed us why their windows were better than their competitors.  He talked a lot about how they'd give us a discount on our windows because of the location of our property and if we'd put up a sign in our yard to help them advertise.  It sounded great at the time but I think it's all part of their sales pitch.  I probably could have talked the price down further now that I think about it.  But they seemed to have a quality product and we went ahead with the sale.
A few weeks later American Exterior's called us again to schedule the installation.  We set a date.  Again, they called us and said the installer was running behind on a job and we rescheduled the install a couple days later.  The installer came out and I had all the furniture pulled away from the windows for them and had taken down the blinds to make his job as easy as possible.  We have wood floors in our home and I was expecting the installer to put some kind of tarp down on the floor.  He did not.  But he was fairly careful and didn't cause any damage except for a couple scrapes on the wall and some dirty hand prints on the interior paint.  But really not bad considering the work that was done to remove the windows.  He did break a couple of my exterior window well covers and I had to bring it up to him at the end of the job but he paid me cash to replace them.
The installer removed all nine windows and put the nine new windows in on the first day except that they did not trim the outside of the windows.  He told me he had to pick up his kids at school and that he'd come back the next day to finish the job.  I had kids myself in the past so said... "No problem!"  The next day we had a Spring snow storm and he didn't come but rescheduled to the following day.
It gave me an extra day to take a closer look at the windows.  The installer DID NOT use as much foam insulation to seal the exterior of the windows as I would have.  There were places were I could stick a whole finger in around the windows.  There were also places where I could look from the inside of the window to the outside and see light and feel cool air coming in.  But I figured he'd seal everything up when he came back to put the trim on.  He did not!
The installer finished the job and asked me to sign his installation sheet and he was gone.  The next day it got really cold and I felt air blowing in around the windows.  I called the regional manager and complained and he said he'd be out on Friday to look the job over.  I also asked him not to send the same installer back.  But the regional manager never showed up but the installer called me.  I told him the problems I was having and he said he'd be by in a couple days to look things over.  He didn't show and I called the regional manager again.
Finally, the regional manager sent out another crew.  They looked at things and thought the original installer didn't do a horrible job.  They did discover that the original installer had not sprayed foam insulation in on the top & bottoms of the windows.  They did this and then one of the installers asked if I wanted to have another layer of silicon sealer put on all the windows on the inside.  I said, "Sure!"  Sadly, the installer managed to smear more sealer on the windows in the wrong places and all and all made things look worse.  I'd pretty much had it with all of American Exteriors installers and decided I'd just fix any remaining issues myself.
I think we've got some good quality windows but I really won't know until they've been in about 10 years.  But I was horribly disappointed in the quality of the installers.

A dar salesman told us some supposed to be awesome when does. Well when we're supposed to receive our windows they called us and told her when is rent and then a day later they called back and told us that our windows were not all in so they said it'd be one more week a week later we call them they told her when is still not in yet how it happened for two more weeks then I told me before I have my 5 windows were in and then I have to wait another week for me the long run that all my windows but one was broken so they lied to me 4 times when does a put in a leak air the crooked talking about on the right they didn't do the rap right my windows I got her just as good as window world which is about $300 window and they were charging me thousands for Windows I'm at the point now where I am going to hire somebody else's company to fix their mistake.

The sales representative was friendly and provided us with a marketing packaged for foam-backed siding, covering window trim, soffits and fascia, and replacing the gable vent to make the exterior of the house maintenance free that was very reasonable for the size of our house (two story 4 BR, 4 Bath, Living, Dinning, Kitchen, and Family room home with large deck and finished walkout basement).  The installation crew was excellent in that they were experienced, professional, and dedicated to detail.  The crew had to replace some damaged siding and remove 2" x 6" corner trim from the entire house so that the 1.5 inch thick siding would lay flat on the house prior to installing the new siding properly.  Other than having to modify the gable vent design due to installation restrictions, which caused a minor delay in completion of the project, the installation went very well and the results were fantastic and better than our expectations.

The company is awesome. They are very fast, the product quality is excellent, and the people working for the company were all very nice.

It went very well. I changed a few thing after they started and it was done, no questions asked and no extra charge.
The install crew had to remove 4 large beams from the front windows. They made it look easy and metal wrapped the windows.
Now it looks like a new house.
I am very happy with the way crew cleaned up every day and they started on time every day.

They came out and represented their materials and it was quality material. They did it in a timely fashion. They did a great job and cleaned up well afterwards. They followed up on some things that needed to be finished up.
