"Weather [rain] was a problem but Brandyn worked to resolve the scheduling issue completely. I couldn't have asked for better cooperation.
Brandyn and Michael arrived on time. I gave them the keys so the could move the car in the driveway as needed. They cleaned, washed, waxed and detailed the interior and exterior. 12 years of "gunk" was completely removed from the interior. Seats, floor mats and carpeting were cleaned. Dashboard [including buttons and switches], steering wheel,  and console were cleaned as were the tires and wheels. The exterior was cleaned and polished.
I could not be more satisfied with the result. The car has not looked this good since the day I drove it off the dealer's lot  12 years ago.
Some may think the price a little high but for me it was well worth it the cost. I will have no problem using them again and highly recommend their service.

"The two young men arrived on time and patiently answered any question I had. They were very careful with the landscaping around the house and no plant was harmed. The roof and gutters look good as new. I would definitely recommend Fairway Home Detailing for this type of work."

"I've been in my home for around 9 years. I recently discovered what had apparently been a small but long term leak around a toilet flange in a 1/2 bath. The repair would require the subfloor to be replaced which in turn meant tearing out and replacing the hardwood. It was a small section of flooring - approx 6.5 x 3 ft. The first contractor who looked at it went on and on about how 'It will never match. You won't be happy. We need to do the whole bathroom area.' and proceeded to quote me quite an expensive price when I insisted that I was willing to accept some differential in finish tone to reduce the area being torn out and replaced. I decided to get Paul to look at it and provide a quote. He came out quickly after being contacted, and was very confident that his crew could do the work with minimal difference in finished floor tone. To top things off, his price was very attractive, so I decided to engage his company for the work. This company uses different crews for the tear out/flooring work; flooring finish work; and molding re-installation work. This didn't cause a problem necessarily, but it probably did result in an extra trip or two. Still, I can see the benefit of having specialization in crews if you have multiple projects going on across the Triangle area. Overall, the work went well. The crews were polite, and kept the work area in reasonable shape following completion of work after each visit. The best news is that the finished product matches MUCH better than I ever expected! There were some natural 'break lines' in the bath area, even though it was small, and this aspect, coupled with the existing lighting makes the new floor virtually indistinguishable from the old. Paul was fairly easy to communicate with during the work. This was a very small job, so I tried to minimize contact with him as well. I would definitely hire his company again for other jobs and I am actually just very pleased that I was able to get such a good work result for a small job at an extremely reasonable price! Note that the price quoted was for the flooring work only and did not include any painting or touch up for molding, nor did it include toilet remove/reset."

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on stone type, surface condition, labor, and whether sealing or deep cleaning is required.

While DIY kits are available for minor stone polishing, larger restoration projects benefit from professional expertise. A professional can ensure an even, high-quality finish, handle stain removal, apply proper sealing for long-lasting protection, and guarantee the work's durability.

Unsealed granite is more susceptible to staining and other damage. Regularly sealing your granite countertops decreases the chances you’ll need to repair damaged countertops in the future. It also keeps it looking shiny rather than becoming dull over time. You can check whether your granite needs resealing by putting a few drops of water on the counter and waiting 15 minutes to see whether the water permeates the surface.

Maintenance includes regular cleaning with appropriate products, periodic sealing to protect against staining and wear, and addressing minor issues before they escalate.

Due to soapstone's non-porous nature and antimicrobial properties, you don’t need to seal it like other stone materials like marble or granite. However, even though sealing isn't required, it can enhance soapstone's natural stain resistance. Another protective option is to apply mineral oil once per month.
