Making sure the measurements were correct and not guessing. The wood was ordered the next week, and the fence was installed the week after. The installers were quiet because we did not know they had arrived to install the fence. That is how professional his crew was, and they were well-mannered young men. Mr. Donnell then came to expect the installation making sure it was to our liking. Awesome customer service and quality of work. "Not well!! Would NOT recommend Kevin with McToolman! He was hired on a sub-contractor basis to install crown molding and used wrong nails (too long) that punctured holes in my AC freon line and a waterline. These were expensive repairs and he is claiming "no fault". Contractor and several others surveyed damaged and confirm he is at fault, plus their are clear pictures proving so. For someone that guarantee's his work, he is running from this "at fault" claim. Can only wonder how many other times this has happened. Look elsewhere for your service needs."

"Update to my 2018/2019 bathroom renovation - the tile they installed is now cracking and the grout is coming loose with many pieces falling out. This after being careful to seal and wipe after down after taking a shower. Having to remove all of it and redo. I initially gave a 5 star as looked good, but the quality of work was indeed sad in the end. Now looking to replace it after only 6 years. Highly disappointed."

"I highly recommend Advanced Roofing and Exteriors. Rob Long has been terrific. I was introduced to Rob/Advanced Roofing and Exteriors by my realtor. We are new to the Lake Norman area, moving from out of state. Our roof had a leak after Florence, then another issue after Hurricane Michael. Rob went the extra mile to diagnosis the second issue and identified as a potential chimney cap leak. Diagnosing can be tricky and he left nothing up to chance. It could have done significant interior damage. Pricing was reasonable, but more importantly, service was delivered better than expected and very timely. An exceptional experience."

"Jack was a pleasure to work with from the beginning through the end of the process. Floor looks absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier. I have had several neighbors stop to look at it as it looks noticeably better than the floors they paid others to do in their homes. Jack worked hard to do the floor immediately after we moved in, in March of 2018. I think the temperature was on the very low side of the acceptable application temperature range and we ended up with some tire lift on the top coat. Jack returned and completely re did the floor a month later as felt the problem was on his shoulders. Since the new application the floor has held up amazingly well and a year later looks as good as the day he put it on. Jack is a very honest and knowledgeable business owner. I could only hope to work with more companies like his!! I would highly recommend his work to anyone"

"Watson iron and steel did our railing for our back porch in 2019. They had to come back and make some corrections, but all in all, we were pleased with their work. We had them come back out a few months ago to measure for our new railing on our front porch. We told the man who came out to literally replicate the railings THEY made to match the back porch exactly. He looked and the back railings, measured the height, the distance between the pickets, etc. I was very clear, and he seemed to understand perfectly… it was simple “just make the exact same thing you made last time.” Yep, got it! Well apparently it wasn’t as simple as it seemed! On the order, they added additional posts instead of screwing into our pillars, and they added twice as many pickets. The communication between the man who came to take our order and the woman who executed the order was obviously quite poor. They told us that they needed to come out and measure again since we didn’t want the additional posts, and even though it was their error, they still charged us an additional fee because they had to make another trip out. We argued endlessly about the fee, but finally gave up and just paid the fee. It was ridiculous. fast forward to today… It still isn’t what we asked for! They did screw the railing into our columns instead of installing additional posts. But we still have twice as many pickets out front as we do in the back. It looks tacky, and after shelling out over $3K for the tiny railing, I hate it. I asked my husband what he wanted to do about it, and he said not to bother because there’s no way they’re going to fix it now that we have already paid them. Isn’t that sad? That we’re not even going to bother trying to work things out with these people because we know they won’t do it. And don’t forget, we’re repeat customers. ? I wish there were more iron companies in and around Charlotte, but sadly, this seems to be the only one. The first picture is our back porch railing. There are 6 inches between the pickets. The second picture is our front porch. There are 3 inches between each packet. They definitely don’t match."
