Use Caution: As many other reviewers have noted, the dissatisfaction occurs when you need them after you've paid your money - which they take in full prior to install completion (the final 50% is charged first thing in the morning on day of install prior to crew even showing up) The crew broke a water line (said it was my problem to resolve), now 4 months after install, my gate door won't open all the way due to sagging. In spite of their written claim of 'free gate adjustments for life’ they are not standing behind this. Here is the verbiage from their site: “ if you are located within 45 minutes from our shop, your installation includes a free gate realignment warranty. Over time, your gate may start to sag or drag on the ground. This can happen when the posts settle after install. This is normal – and we provide a free re-alignment to all of our customers, at no charge. Just call us when this happens, and we can go out, readjust the hinges, and make sure the gate will swing and open / close properly again.” Their response was that adjusting the latch or hinge will not correct issue. What??!!

I couldn’t be happier with the fence Sunrise Fence installed for my property. The quality of the materials is outstanding, and the craftsmanship truly stands out. They offer a variety of styles to choose from, and their team was helpful in guiding me to the best option for my needs. The lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind, knowing they stand behind their work. Everything was done on time, and their attention to detail was impressive. If you’re looking for a reliable and professional fence company, Sunrise Fence is the one to call!

They were really professional. I got my estimate quickly. They came out and installed our new fence. Our old fence was hauled away. I really like the look of my new aluminum fence.

This company is horrendous and I would stay as far away from them as possible. Our fence was ridiculously overpriced and my neighbor's large dog can fit his head underneath of it. The gap was substantial when it was installed, but we didn't see it as a fight worth having until there was an incident with the dog's head getting stuck. We've had pavers up against it to keep our dog from getting his face under the fence/to keep him from digging, so nothing has affected the earth or made the gap larger. Sunrise Fence said fixing it is not covered under warranty, but shoddy installation should be remedied regardless of warranty. Further, the installers left a mess at our house that we had to clean up ourselves, damaged our neighbor's fence in the installation process, and repeatedly pushed us back. You don't at all get what you pay for.

Do yourself a favor and find a real professional. Make sure you know *who* will actually do the installation and that you have direct contact with someone who can address any issues that arise. Sunrise was an awful company to work with. The only part of the process that was easy was completing the sale. That, and processing our payment (the day before the installation even started!), was the last time they showed up on time or executed something correctly. Installation process was poorly executed - from mediocre workmanship to a slow installation, delayed in part due to a lack of properly including the correct supplies for the project. Installer was polite, but clearly not experienced nor thoughtful about his work or the impact to our home environment. They didn't show up when they said they would and communication throughout was very poor. Calls to the corporate office were met with clueless responses because, it turns out, our installer was a contract who was doing his own thing and only loosely affiliated with the company we actually paid to do the work. We followed up with the company directly on specific concerns and got an "oh, well" response that tried to be somewhat empathetic but ultimately never offered to correct the issues. However, we understand that sometimes things go sideways and are handled poorly for different reasons, and certainly don't want to diminish the reputation of a growing small business because we believe that the owner probably cares at some level but is simply inexperienced at managing these issues. It's been ~3 months since installation and now the freshly installed gate is sagging. We can clearly see it's sagging because the gate was attached to an old post, while we specifically requested, and expected, it to be installed on fresh wood. We contacted Sunrise today to report the sag and asked them to correct it, and got a response that was completely dismissive. We're 100% done with Sunrise and would never contact them for anything. If this is the best fencing company around, we'll learn to do it ourselves next time. Do yourself a favor and find a real professional. Fence barely closes and the repair person came out and made it worse. There are now dangerous exposed nails and screws. Management continues to give excuses as to why they will not send someone out to repair. This company was recommended by my real estate agent who will no longer recommend them to anyone.

Do yourselves a favor and go with another company. I had mine done in June by them and they didn't do a great job. Even cut into my vinyl of the house. I called and they sent Carlos out, he tells me they'll call me the next day, they'll send a crew to fix the fence, they'll pay me for the damages and discount the price because I wasn't satisfied. He also took pictures and even said himself it was not a good job. Well...no one called. I waited a month (July) and called them, and I got the "someone will call you back" run around.... well it's almost September and the fence is still jacked up, my vinyl is still damaged, and no one has called or come by. I called again and no one knows anything and I haven't scheduled for repairs. I left comments and pictures on their Facebook page and they blocked me. I've filed a BBB complaint and will be seeking legal advise. Extremely regret dealing with them.

Initially, I was very pleased with the owner and his recommendations for what he could do to make this happen. There were several miscommunications that needed to be corrected during the process including a delivery of the wrong materials which stayed in my driveway for over a month. When the fence was finally installed, I was very unhappy with the quality of the fencing used. I had no prior knowledge of a proper thickness for a fence used to confine large dogs and assumed that he would understand that it should be sturdy and secure. I was able to compare it to the fencing that my new next door neighbors used when they installed their fence a few weeks earlier (we share that side) and realized that my fencing was an inferior quality and subject to splintering and breaking easily. That did happen and Sunrise Fence did come out 30 days later to replace the broken fence slat with a sturdier piece of fencing at no expense.

We are under contract to have a fence installed by Sunrise Fencing. The tear out of our fence was supposed to be Tuesday (Aug. 16th) The guys showed up, worked a half day and one of the guys got Stung by a bee So the crew left. My husband took care of the bee problem that night. He texted the guy we were working with and let him know. That was the 16th. Today is Monday the twenty first and STILL a NO SHOW for the fencing guys. My husband called the same person as before and was told, someone came out to the house today and said we still have a bee problem!!!! FIRST WE HAVE taken care of the bee problem (last Tues) SECOND WE have 2 dogs and NO ONE comes to our house inside or outside with out us knowing about it. The Dogs were quiet all day. Soooooo did someone come out today????? We are on DAY 6 and was told 2 days from start to finish!!! RIGHT!!! As I said we have 2 dogs that can't go outside to do there business with out someone with them because our fence is about 90% down and NO DATE set to be finished!!! THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE SO FAR!!! I'll keep you posted as to what follows!!!

My husband drove from Charlotte to Monroe and purchased 180 pickets for $180.00. My husband is NOT a fence expert. We reached out to a professional to come to our home on Saturday. July 22 to give us an estimate for a fence repair job. 1. He told us our job would not be considered a repair job. 2. He told us he would NOT use the pickets that we purchased from Beth. He stated that he runs a reputable business and he would NOT put his stamp on that product. Some of the pickets were splintered, some were faded from the sun and a few were not even dog ear pickets, they were just boards. When I reached out to Beth for a refund she said they were sold "as is" and would could swap them out for other pickets. My husband stated he had picked what appeared to be the better of the bunch, therefore, swapping them out is NOT an option. If you look closely at the photos attached you will see the board 2nd from the right is just that a 'board' not a dog ear picket. When I forward these photos to Beth she responded verbatim ..."If you want to exchange a board or two, that's fine - but this can also be sanded down. This is the cut out on the end of them. EXACTLY!! The best of the best was selected for fencing projects and she is trying to pocket money off of trash material and take advantage of people, (which is very sad) instead of recycling these items. All we are requesting at this point is for a full refund, so that we can move forward with our project. We work hard and cannot afford a lost of $180. Thank you

House damage: The materials were delivered a few days before the installation. When I moved my trash bin from the street to the side of my house, I noticed damage to the siding and garage door. I called the company immediately and they put me in touch with the business who delivered the material. I chatted with this person a few weeks ago and he promised to send someone to assess the damage. As yet, I have not received a return phone call nor has the damage been repaired. Scheduling: The initial date of installation was 5/22. However, the installer called to say that they had been delayed due to the rain and asked if it could be done a week later; we agreed to the 31st. I called the week before and was informed that the person to whom I had spoken was not in charge of scheduling and that I my installation date was now on 6/7. I indicated that no one had called to confirm this date with me, I would not be in town, and I needed to reschedule for an earlier date because the wood had been sitting in the rain on my front lawn for days. The representative agreed to call me back and reschedule. However, I did not receive a return phone call; therefore, I called back to express my displeasure with the services I received. Without confirming our availability, a crew installed the fence later the week of 5/29. While I was pleased that the fence was installed, it turned out that this was not the fence for which we had contracted. When I called and texted the representative, he indicated that he would review the paperwork and get back with me. When my call was not returned, I called the office the following week and was informed that this person no longer worked for the company. Since the person did not have my paperwork readily available, I sent a copy of the contract and am waiting to hear a response on next steps. Lawn damage: The fence material sat for weeks on my front lawn. Unfortunately, it is now a clump of dirt with sparse, yellow blades; it is unclear if the lawn will come back.

Our sales rep Gary was quick to meet us and gave a us a great price for the fence we wanted. The folks at Sunrise Fence are very nice and accommodating, but do not seem to be well organized. Our install date got moved back and I had to do all of the follow up to ensure our contract was completed and materials ordered. When we got to the second install date, they did not seem to be ready as the materials had not arrived and some parts were back ordered and no notice of this was given until the day of. Sunrise did a great job to remedy this part, as they comped us a nicer gate to make up for it. The installation team came by as they could, which made it difficult to plan around. They completed the job within four days. The end product looks great but is not the best material. We got what we paid for. Overall, very nice people and if you stay on top of your project, Sunrise is a viable option. It just led to some frustration in my case.

The initial fence team came when scheduled but much like another review was missing parts for the Gate on one side and the installer told me I would need another gate ordered due to the slope on the other side. Two weeks later they called and said they ordered and picked up a wrong gate under the same last name so It would be delayed another week. of course that was over a month ago now. I called back last Friday and was assured by our salesman, that someone would be back the next day to finish. Of course a week later and now they are still playing games citing it is a manufacturing issue. The worst part is someone from Sunrise called 3 days after the initial install and somehow took the second half of our payment without my authorization so there is no reason for them to finish this off. I guess it is time to look for a lawyer on Angie's list to get this done! I cant believe I did not check here first as I am seeing the exact same issues from others

TERRIBLE experience. From the very beginning this company was a mess, to be honest I went with them due to their reviews- which I found out they PAY people to write. Customer service is TERRIBLE, they are unethical, they do not take their team or do a quality job. They will trespass on your property CONSTANTLY. I would highly recommend taking your business else ware. The salesmen was a mess, he barely measured and was not through. Their price was competitive and they had great reviews online (which are paid for) so I booked them. I met with him at the end of March and scheduled a middle of May install. Then it started to get messy--- on April 18th (luckily I was on PTO after easter) I was home and got a knock on the door from the fence supplier. He was here to drop off a large pallet of fence supplies. Luckily I was home because this would have killed my grass if left randomly. I should have been notified that he was coming but of course I wasn't. As soon as he leaves I call sunrise and ask them why I am receiving supplies when my install is a month out. Well- turns out my install was scheduled for the next day. I rescheduled that to a week or two later- trying to be flexible as this is the first mistake. The actual install went fine. The team was nice and did a good job. The error was made by the salesperson when he ordered. One of the places we needed a gate was slanted and would need a custom gate- this of course was not ordered and if installed the regular gate would have a 2 ft gap- please tell me what the point of that would be? I called sunrise the next day and explained I would need them to reorder this gate and cover the cost and they did it (the only decent part of this experience). About a week later I was in my house and I see two strange men walking up and down the side of my house. They never knocked and I was never called saying someone would be at my home. Then I see them come around the corner with power tools headed towards the side of my fence that is completed and working! Not the side that needs the gate. I run outside and with a large language barrier explain to them that they need to leave my working fence alone and I am simply waiting on a new gate to be delivered for the other side. After about 10 mins I get them to leave. Then they sat in front of my house for another 20 mins which I found strange. The new gate was delivered 3 weeks after the initial instal. I was never alerted to the delivery. The install was scheduled for the next day. Next day I come home and still no gate- I call and this gate was ordered incorrectly too and they reordered. At this point I am getting frustrated. I call and ask to speak to a manager for the third time in this experience and she actually called me back. She was extremely defensive and immediately cut me off saying she was trying to fix things but I needed to be patient I calmed her down by telling her I wasn't calling to yell (which I didn't) I was calling to alert her to all of my terrible experiences so she could be aware. She listened but at the end of the conversation (after hearing a lot of excuses) she asked me to write a 5 star google review and she would knock off $50 from the cost of my fence. NOT ONLY is that unethical and bad business BUT it is against the google review terms. From my research it is also Illegal. I will be contacting google to let them know. She promised that the new gate would be installed the next day. My neighbor txted me a few hours later with pictures of a truck at my house. AGAIN- without telling me she sent a team to install the gate. I come home and now the fence is damaged from the install! I txt her pictures of the damage and ask her to call me the next morning to discuss. SHE NEVER CALLS or responds- she simply sends another team to my house at 7AM the next day to fix it. I find out because My dogs are going crazy so I walk to the back door to find a man staring into my house!! It has been 24 hours since I asked to speak to the owner and no call.

They did a great job on the fence. The original date was changed somehow that fell though the cracks. So I took a day off work and they didn't make it. Then the next day it rained in the morning and showed up very late, intending to only do the uninstall. We have dogs and that would have been a nightmare for us. We asked them to not start the job if they couldn't finish it the same day. They were able to get additional workers to come and they had it knocked out very quickly and did a fantastic job. We will be replacing the rest of the back section in the near future. I had already booked them through Facebook with their special there. Angie's list did have a 5% off coupon but we did not use it. I came here to look at the reviews.

Update after using Sunrise Fence. My recommendation is to stay away, as far away as you can. This company has terrible communication throughout and horrible customer service. 2 weeks before Easter they wanted to deliver the wood for the fence that wasn't scheduled to be put up until the week after Easter., luckily I was home and wouldn't let them drop the wood because it was someone else's wood. They came out last Friday and installed the wrong style fence(I clarified before I left for work that they had the correct style due to communication issues with the company from the beginning) with the good side facing in. They did not order the aluminum gate, which was in the contract. The workers ran over some of our pavers and broke them but tried to turn them around so we wouldn't see them, but our cameras caught them. After calling the manager about the wrong style gate, she said she would get back to me and never did until I posted a bad review on their Facebook page, which was later deleted by them. She then offers us $500 off to keep the botched fence, we declined. They were supposed to come out Wednesday to remove the old and put in the new fence but didn't show up. So, again I contacted the manager who then set up an appointment for this morning with the field manager present. The field manager came out with a nasty attitude along with the same crew that put up the fence the botched fence last Friday, after being asked not to. Of corse the worker that came out first time told one story and then changed it and then basically tried to call me a liar and say this was our fault but I had the contract there to prove I was right. At this point I just told them to leave because I am tired of dealing with them, so Monday they will be coming out to remove the botched fence. When the new crew came out they brought me a refund check that was less $500 of what we paid. I again had to call the manager, this time it was supposedly a computer glitch. Needless to say, I demanded they bring me a new check with the correct amount or I was not letting the crew leave with the materials for the fence they took down and I was calling the police and a lawyer. Within an hour an associate was at my door with a new check, to which I immediately took to their bank and cashed for fear it would bounce.

Installation was scheduled 30 days in advance for Friday, 4/14/17 for which Lowe's delivered the materials the day before ultimately blocking access to my garage. I received a call the day prior saying that I needed to be rescheduled to which I told Sunrise Fence that my garage was blocked and I needed to be rescheduled ASAP. Willing to help, they scheduled me for Monday, 4/17, so I took the day off from work to be present for the installation. I called at 9:30am the day of asking when the crew might arrive~ to which I was told that the crews self schedule and that the office did not know. Six hours later I got a call from the office saying that a crew had been in an accident and that they were trying to get a back-up crew but wanted to reschedule in case they could not make it before end of day. So we then rescheduled for Friday, 4/21, for which the Office Manager (Melissa) promised me that I would be the first installation that day. Hearing that, I told Melissa that I was told earlier that the office wasn't aware of the schedules to which she apologized saying that was untrue. To my surprise, a crew showed up the very next day (Tuesday, 4/18/17) unannounced however ran out of materials and had to finish the job the next day. The fence looked amazing... no complaints whatsoever with the quality and workmanship! Then on Thursday, 4/20/17 --- the day after the fence installation was completed --- I got a voicemail from Sunrise Fence saying that they would not be out on Friday as scheduled and that I had been rescheduled to the following Thursday, 4/27/17. They had no clue that the fence had already been installed! I called back 10 minutes later and left a voicemail asking that the owner (Beth) contact me directly. The next day I still had not heard from Sunrise so I called back. I was told by someone in the office that they were unaware of Beth's schedule and that they personally did not have a way to contact her. The office manager, Melissa, called me back on Beth's behalf and I explained my frustrations. Upon telling her, she apologized and offered to get me moved up on the schedule. That infuriated me... first, she herself promised I would be the first installation the next day due to my driveway being blocked and due to already being rescheduled twice. Second, she missed the part where I said the fence was already installed! Again, I was so furious that I demanded a small discount to which they obliged. I contemplated even writing a review since they obliged but that doesn't negate my bad experience. It's a shame that this company is poorly managed/operated as they do provide a quality product. The only reason Sunrise Fence wasn't rated even more poorly is due to the estimator, Ricardo, being as courteous and professional as he was and the fact that the installation crew truly did an exceptional job.

It took 4 times for Sunrise Fence to install the fence and two gates. The professionalism of the ladies in the office was absolutely abysmal and completely unprofessional from the moment they answered the phone (attitude from Hello on...). Delays in getting a gate ordered and installed (after it was delivered they then said it would take 3 weeks to get someone out to install & only on a Saturday...); wrong post installed requiring additional follow up visit. List of issues. Price was middle of all quotes I received. Mud and cement left everywhere in the yard - has killed the grass. As soon as it was complete received a phone call demanding immediate payment or a lien would be placed - wow. Like their installation delay problems were my fault? I DO NOT recommend this vendor. Good price, significant delays in installation; bad service.

It was great, awesome. They were very helpful in helping me get the forms filled out that are required by our HOA in order to install a fence. They helped walk me through the process which was an additional service and not something they really have to do. The workers were great, they stayed outside the whole time so I didn't really talk to them much.

They did a good job.  The workers were great.  They do a pretty decent job.  Are they 100% great?  No; I had some issues with them, but I don't see anybody that you really won't have any issues with anymore.  The quality of craftsmanship is just going downhill from about everybody.  Everybody just wants to get their money and get out.
