My husband and I had several different companies come out to give us quotes for our fence. We were getting discouraged because we felt the quotes we were getting were made-up prices. We actually left the project alone and said, "We will continue to wait on God to bring the right company." A few months back, we explained to my sister it would be nice if we got our backyard fenced in by the summer. Well, she recommended Mr. Donnell the owner of Best Rate Fence. We did not reach out right away, but when we did, we knew this was the right company for the job. His customer service was top-notch. He returned our call right away and came out to home the next day. He was the only company that came out and walked our yard with a measuring tool. Making sure the measurements were correct and not guessing. The wood was ordered the next week, and the fence was installed the week after. The installers were quiet because we did not know they had arrived to install the fence. That is how professional his crew was, and they were well-mannered young men. Mr. Donnell then came to expect the installation making sure it was to our liking. Awesome customer service and quality of work. Now we can enjoy our backyard in peace our furbabies can stay outside longer, and we can not wait until we have cookouts. Thank you Best Rate Fence

They did a wonderful job. In the 15 years that we have lived in this home, we have not had a professional show up on time and start the project on time. Not only did they show up on time, but they started the work on time and did not take a break until the fence and gate were completely installed. Also, when I spoke with the home office to settle up, the customer service provided by the home office was also phenomenal!

He's a man of great integrity and when he tells u he's going to do something, he does it thoroughly. A man of great skill in fencing and does a great job. He really did a beautiful job. Ordered all the materials its a chain link fence, he did beyond anything that I would've expected. He is willing to work until the sun goes down, most people don't do that anymore and he's a very good guy. He did a great job for us and we are very very happy for what he did. I would recommend him to anybody who wants to have their fence done.

I can't recommend Donell Alexander and Best Rate Fence Company highly enough. From initial contact to completion of the job, everything was professional, prompt, and clearly communicated. Donell is a pleasure to work with and extremely kind. His crew did an excellent job and the fencing materials used were top notch. The quality of work was exceptional. We had Best Rate Fence put up a 6ft privacy fence on one side of our property a year ago, and we had such a wonderful experience that we just had them finish the other side this year! I can’t recommend them enough. Donell is very kind, responsive, and helpful. We felt like the pricing was very fair, and both times we had them do work, they began work ahead of schedule and finished very quickly while still doing high quality work. We love our new fence and wouldn’t work with anyone else for any fencing needs we have in the future.

Mr. Donnell was excellent to work with and his crew was fast and professional. Finished my wood fence in one day and removed some old chain link as well. They also removed stumps and small trees in their way. Black chain link was also done in a day. My neighbors all compliment us on how nice the fences look. I am very pleased and I highly recommend Best Rate Fence.

Mr Alexander arrived at my residence on time as schedule; I found him to be very professional during the entire process of my job. I had questioned after the estimate was sent to me and Mr Alexander was kind enough to make a second trip clear up my concerns. Donnell came out and provided an estimate and he was able to get started on the project quickly. His team worked fast and they were only delayed because of the weather. We’ve already received quite a few compliments on our new fence and we love the value it adds to our home. Mr. Darnell was super pleasant to work with snd meet initially. Described the fence we wanted and provided pictures. He shared pictures of fences he completed similar to mine and we were excited. Had some other work being completed and wanted to schedule it out. Project was delayed a few times and took over 1.5 months to get it completed. He ask me confirm any changes (door locations, etc…) within a couple days of the job (we did much of this via text). I changed the location of 1 door so it would be accessible. I had to work the day they completed the install (my wife was there to assist with questions). Now to the really bad :(. The subs showed up to install the fence. They did not install the fence that was on the contract or pictures, instead they installed a standard fence. Also the door was not placed in the location requested in the change/confirmation. I arrived home near the end of the project in which mr. Darnell had not been at all day - he later came over to get the final payment. When questioned about the errors he stated it was a mistake and didn’t offer to fix it. After speaking the the contractors the install couldn’t be fixed because the fence we ordered is installed different (although using the same materials). We talked for a moment and he said he had to go to another job site. I asked him about adjustments - he reluctantly agreed to the decorative portion. He gave a timeframe he would repair which he missed on two occasions. It’s roughly 8 months later and still no resolution. I plan to pay another company to add the design and move the gate. I waited to provide a review to see if he would honor is word but he took the payment and moved on. I know there are a ton of good reviews on here but this was my experience. I own a mid size multi-state real estate company and I haven’t been able to refer him like I hoped because this would be bad for clients.

Their obligation is to install any fence work exactly how the contract is spelled out (in which case your contract included a standard fence). Donell was awesome to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable of Mecklenburg City County specifications. They were punctual, it only took them one day. Donnell walked the property with us prior to Installation and once completed he walked the property with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. Donell is excellent to work with. He is honest and hard-working. He initially installed my fence almost five years ago and did a fantastic job. He committed to checking in every few years to make sure everything was still holding up. He kept his word and even came out to puppy-proof any gaps to ensure he would not be able to escape. Wow is all i can say. i needed my backyard fence in which required about 315 feet of fence. donelle set all the posts the first day. after the posts were all set, he returned to actually put up the fence. there was no way i would have thought that one man could install all that fence. he did all the work by himself. he was very professional and respectful. he made sure all the work was done with impectable care. He did an awesome job. he made sure that there were no gaps in the fence that would allow the small dogs to get out. my red nosed pit was jumping for joy all over the yard. i would highly recommend this company for any kind of fencing work. i am extremely pleased with the quality of the fence and the job. Awesome and wow is all i can say. thank you 'donelle for such a lovely job.

Donell was great to work with. I called about a couple of posts to my split rail fence that had a run in w/ some deer, and Donell came out that afternoon to give me an estimate. He had someone at my house two days later to repair. Hard to find service like this anymore!! I would certainly recommend Best Rate Fence and will use them in the future.

They were absolutely fantastic! They got in contact with me right away and came out for a free quote the next day. They took care of all the details including having someone come mark the property and transporting all of the materials. They worked with me to deliver the wood in a timely manner and they built my fence well ahead of schedule! It was absolutely fantastic and the quality of the product exceeds expectations. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a fence. Everyone who helped was very nice and professional and super friendly. They completed the whole fence in a day and a half which was super fast and they didn’t get in the way or disturb me or my neighbors a bit. Very grateful and glad I went with Best Rate Fence!
