"This is the third time I've hired Chief Roofing. As previously, the crew was punctual and professional and completed the work in a timely manner. In addition they cleaned my gutters and removed the debris, leaving everything as they had found it. I highly recommend this company!"

"Consolidated Roofing Systems is simply the best. From Fred and Billy and the entire crew, customer service really impressed me. I haven't seen that kind of customer service for a very long time. The workmanship is superb from start to finish. The product is definitely top of the line. I'm so glad I found this company and would certainly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job!!"

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"Gemma and Tom, the company's owners, are two fantastic people. They and their crew went above and beyond our expectations as they not only replaced the roof of the house in a timely and professional manner, but also re-roofed the shed at no additional cost, a shed that was in dire need of repairs. When they came to clean the yard, they not only removed debris from the installation, but also racked up all the leaves around the house! On top of everything, they gave us a nice gift to thank us for using their services. If this is not top-notch service, I don't know how else to call it! I would definitely and absolutely recommend them to anyone out there looking for roofing services, and wouldn't think twice about hiring them again in the future."

"Mr. Holmes made an extra effort to squeeze in to his very busy schedule my mother's roof problem.  He went the extra mile coming over after he finished his already long work day.  He climbed on the roof, identified two probably issues and told my mom he would return the next day, again after working a long day elsewhere, and fix the roof leak.  As good as his word, Mr. Holmes came back the next early evening, patched a roof and secured some flashing.  Water leak disappeared.

"They sealed a ventilation pipe that had been leaking into the house.  I then authorized them to seal other ventilation pipes that had not been attended to since the original roof was put on in May 2000.

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning of filters and checking ducting ensures effective operation.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

If a range hood has minor issues, the average repair costs $85 to $210. This accounts for both parts and labor. More extensive damage can cost as much as $300 to $500, at which point it may be worth considering completely replacing the range hood.

Yes, with features like LED lighting and variable speed controls for efficiency.

A higher CFM will make the price of your range hood more expensive. It can be challenging to speculate how much the CFM rating affects price, but ductless range hoods—that don’t need as high of a CFM as ducted range hoods—are less expensive than their alternative. On average, ductless hoods cost between $100 and $300, while ducted hoods can cost as much as $1,000.
