"Maurice & Hawk were knowledgeable, courteous, efficient ,did not hesitate to answer all questions. Explained the features/procedure of the Bell Cow Service Program, including the difference between the cost for the one and two years program. Bell Cow is the 4th HVAC firm we had since we mov ing in 5 years ago. Bell Cow is the only firm we have signed an extended service contract with on day one. Maurice & Hawk both acted as if Bell Cow is an employee owned company. I say that based upon the comments both made when referring to their company Bell Cow. ."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

The cost to hire an exterminator or pest control service is $175 on average, with typical costs ranging from $100 to $500. However, you could spend more depending on several factors, including the type of pest, the size and severity of the infestation, and the number of visits required.

Service costs also vary by frequency:

• One-time service: $300–$550

• Initial visit with ongoing service: $150–$300

• Monthly visits: $40–$70

• Quarterly visits: $100–$300

• Annual visits: $300–$550

The type of pest significantly impacts the price. For example, exterminating spiders typically costs between $100 and $300, while a termite problem can range from $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the extent of the damage. Routine pest control services can help prevent future infestations and costly damage to your home.

Cockroaches, ants, flies, bed bugs, and termites are common in business environments.

No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.

Yes, predator decoys work to keep birds away, at least temporarily. However, if the decoy remains motionless in the same spot for a long enough time, the birds will eventually wise up and realize it's a fake. Keep changing the location of the predator decoy to ensure that the birds keep their guard up and maintain their distance.

Keeping your pool cover clean is a good way to keep smaller animals from running across it or using it as shelter. Small animals may use leaf debris on top of the cover to hide. Cleaning also removes nuts that may fall from a nearby tree that could otherwise be a tempting snack for some animals, like squirrels.
