"Funny how when bees are chasing you they look more like humming birds..Don't let bees chase you, call Wild Wildlife Removal and have Jonathan come out and help. Jonathan responded fast, communicated throughout the process, and got the job done for a fair price. Would call again for any pest removal needs.."

"We had an excellent experience with Lineberger's Tree Services and would highly recommend the company. Brent and Beverly were a real pleasure to work with. We had to adjust our timeline and the scope of the project due to an illness in the family and an unexpected expense. Life happens and they were very understanding. Brent and his crew showed up on time, did all the work in professional manner, the areas were cleaned up and Brent ensured that the job met our expectations. They even picked up a few small burn piles we had made. We have quite a few flowers in bloom and they took care around them as well. They were also very mindful regarding social distancing to ensure the safety of us and their staff. Call them, you will be pleased. Carol and Jeff Harris PS. We would like to add that our Crape Myrtles suffered from benign neglect and our timing was off if you drive by you will see the branches are well pruned, but we need to wait until next January or February to reduce the height. No Crape Myrtle here! :)"

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

When woodpeckers start banging on your walls or roof, they are probably looking for insects to eat, storing nuts for winter, drilling a hole to make a nest, or communicating with other birds to establish territory or find a mate.

The size of the hole can help determine the reason for the pecking. Small irregular holes are a result of insect hunts. Acorn holes are more consistently sized and often fitted with a nut in the middle. Nest holes are large and have rounded edges. If the bird is pecking to mark its territory or attract a mate, it may leave dents rather than holes, and the noise will stop when the mating season starts in spring.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.

Certain strong smells may help repel bats, though this is not a foolproof method and is best used in conjunction with other deterrence strategies. Scents like peppermint oil, eucalyptus, cinnamon, cloves, and mint are often suggested as natural remedies. To create a spray, you can mix two cups of warm water with half a cup of sugar and a few drops of your preferred essential oil. Apply this mixture using a spray bottle to possible entry points and throughout the affected area, such as an attic. While this home remedy is popular, evidence supporting its effectiveness is limited.

Some birds of prey, like owls, hunt at night. Hawks are diurnal and need good light to see their prey. You could see them circling anytime from dawn to dusk. Species like the common red-tailed hawk are most active in the early morning and late evening when their prey is also typically on the go.

Signs include visible nests, droppings, frequent loud noises, or structural damage caused by these animals, indicating a need for pest control intervention.
