"If you want to cut out cable bills and get great TV reception and lots of channels, you need to get in touch with this company. They installed our antenna and did an excellent job. Their labor is gauranteed for life. The lightening hit our TV over the weekend and they came back out and installed our new TV and electronics. This is the way to go now as high as cable is. This company is the only one I would trust to do this kind of work. You may want to consider doing this. Ask for Carlos. He is amazing at what he does and very experienced in what he does."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Wiring a light switch wrong can cause a fire if the incorrect wiring causes arcing, meaning the current jumps uncontrolled from one conductor to another. Loose wires or worn wires that are not repaired or replaced can cause arcing. If you’re not 100% sure you can do the job safely, don’t attempt to wire a light switch on your own.

To reset an electric fireplace, first shut the unit off using the control panel or remote control. Make sure the unit is entirely shut down, then unplug it from the power outlet. Wait five to 10 minutes, then plug the fireplace back in and turn it on. This process should reset the electric fireplace. After resetting, make sure to set the thermostat, timer, and other programmable settings to suit your preferences.

Yes. You can connect your home back-up battery to a generator with its designated charger. Be sure that the output of the generator matches the input requirements for the battery for best results.

On average, the cost to wire a new home ranges from $2 to $5 per square foot. The cost to rewire a house is around the same, ranging from $2 to $4 per square foot. Often, though, new wiring comes with lower overall costs since it’s much easier to access a home’s foundation.

How often you’ll replace your electric meter depends on what type of meter you have in your home. Induction meters can last around 10 years, while static meters will typically last around 20. If you’re unsure which kind of meter you have, a call to your electric company can help ease your mind.
