"The owner communicated with me quickly and sent two techs out to install my ring video doorbell and I’m happy with the work. I will hire them again soon to install a ceiling light fixture and some cafe patio lights."

"I am still in the early stages of my project but I could not wait a second longer to brag on the wonderful, Jessica. From the moment we were on our call I was poured into and felt seen, heard & instantly connected to Jessica. Her passion and dedication for her work were quickly apparent and even though we’d only spoken for minutes, it felt like I’d known for years. Her interest and excitement for my project was a breath of fresh air. All of this is new to me and seeking the right help has not been the easiest process, but with Jessica, things felt right. We didn’t need to sleep on it or hold off because she made us feel sure. Despite having a smaller budget, Jessica was adamant about respecting that budget and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Her reassurance was comforting and her kindness was unmatched. I feel honored to have such an amazing human help turn our new house into a home. I am happy. I am excited and I am ready. Thank you, Jessica. Let’s do this! <3"

"I live in an area that has a lot of new construction. My house is about 2 1/2 years old and my neighbor's is even newer. I have a large tree that died within about two weeks this summer and was given Mr. Lusk's name as a arborist when I called the County Extension Office. When Mr. Lusk told me that my dead tree was the result of the grading of the land during construction, I thought it was a reasonable explanation. He also stated that possibly all of my ~10 mature trees in my back yard would likely die from the grading during construction. However, I felt his price for removal (of the one dead tree) was a bit high and got a second quote from a highly rated Angie's List tree service. When the other company arrived, the man said immediately that the tree had been hit by a borer beetle. As we walked to the tree he told me what we would see due to the borer invasion. It was exactly what he had stated and we even saw some of the dead larvae on the tree's bark. The price given for removal of the tree was less than half of Mr. Lusk's proposed estimate.
I e-signed a contract prior to Mr. Lusk's examination and tree assessment and am out the $90 I agreed to for the opinion of the professional arborist. I feel he was way and quot;off his gameand quot; the day he examined my tree and his proposed price for removal was ridicuoously high.

"The guys were very professional and courteous.  John patiently assisted me with color selections and helped me determine color starts and stops in the areas I requested.  All were friendly, helpful and upbeat.  Their quality of work was great.....I know exactly who to call the next time I have an interior painting project."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.

If you take home a pre-lit Christmas tree but want to spruce it up with blinking lights, don’t worry, there’s a simple solution. You can easily replace the light bulbs on the pre-lit tree with flashing bulbs. For a more subtle look, only replace some of the bulbs with flashing bulbs.

Yes, most services include testing the system after repairs. Confirm with your provider.

Before investing in motion sensor lights, there are a couple of disadvantages worth noting. For starters, they’re not as reliable as other forms of lighting. Motion sensor lights can be accidentally triggered by pets or wind, which can become a nuisance after a while. The opposite situation can occur, too, where they don’t turn on when you need them to.

If half of a string of Christmas lights is out, it is likely because of a single burned-out, loose, or broken bulb within that section. Long strands of lights often contain more than one circuit, so when one bulb fails, it can cause the entire circuit (or half the strand) to go dark. To fix this, inspect the unlit section and test each bulb to ensure it is tight and functioning properly. Replacing the faulty bulb or repairing a damaged shunt will typically solve the problem.
