"13 years ago Deckscapes built us a 14x18 foot screened porch which we have enjoyed immensely over the years and have received so many compliments on. They did a magnificent job but after 13 years it was ready to be freshened up. Although they were not the least expensive, we went with Deckscapes based on how pleased we were with the initial build. We had them put in new screens, new screen caps, a new screen door and fresh paint on everything. They did an incredible job and we could not be happier. The porch looks brand new and every member of the Deckscapes team did an outstanding job. What amazed me and my wife was that all of the team members were the same people who originally built our porch 13 years ago. What a tribute to Mick and his team to stay together for this long! "Overall the work was done fairly well. I was satisfied. They were responsive when I had issues both during and after the job was done. The main issue was that Steve tried to add $7000 onto my agreed price because material prices had increased. Problem was that all the lumber had been bought and sitting in my driveway prior to the material increase. He forgot that he had given a list months earlier showing we had all we needed but the siding to complete the job.The company does good work but you have to stay on top of the business side of the contract."
