An efficiently run operation. The equipment was unloaded and moved into position quickly. I provided a minimal amount of instructions on what i was trying to accomplish. Gradescapes NC, Inc. added value to the project by not only flawless execution, but zero disturbance of the yard and other feature of the house. Hands down, would recommend again 10/10.

Andre did a fantastic job of grading my backyard. He was very focused on making sure the soil was pitched away from the house in order to shed water. Additionally, he removed a large number of stumps and hauled all the debris away leaving the yard extremely clean from roots, stumps, branches, etc... Andre was flexible with his schedule, completed the work on time and he was always making sure his work was meeting my expectations.

Andre was great to work with from the moment we met. I got his name through the guy that performed my home inspection when I purchased the house. I rated him a B for responsiveness only because it would take a few days to hear back from him. I'm pretty sure this is largely due to the fact that it's spring which also means busy season.
I'd definitely hire him again. He was even accommodating to some last minute changes. The overall cost was extremely reasonable and he's great to work with.

Andre showed up on time for the estimate and then showed up on time for the job. He did an excellent job and did exactly what he said he was going to do at a fair price. Will definitely use them again

This couldn't have gone better! We called Andre for an estimate and he was able to stop by the same day. We immediately agreed to a fair, hourly price with an overall range estimate and scheduled the date. We had bad weather for several days and Andre kept me informed as our work date shifted... The day before the job Andre sent a text to confirm the final details and he arrived on time the following day. There was no delays once Andre arrived, he was focused and broke up and had removed our patio in less than an hour from his arrival. This is very important on an hourly job. Andre was efficient, he left to dump the patio and rented the auger attachment on his way back to limit rental time costs. The drilling and grading was completed by early afternoon and the work was extremely high quality. When the final bill came Andre kept to his agreed rate with the rental fee we expected. This job went perfectly! If you need any services Andre can provide call him first. You won't regret it.

Andre went above and beyond! We are in the middle of a very large renovation and rather than watching us move heavy items...he jumped right in and lent a hand. He was very professional and even sent a thank you email the same evening. I would highly recommend Andre!

The owner Andre Vernon was very professional and responsive. He was always quick to reply to phone calls and communicated well with us. We had changed our mind on some of the things we were doing and he was very accommodating. He let us know every step of the way how things were going and there were no surprises. He is a hard worker and got the job done in a timely and efficient manner. If we have the need for any services that he provides in the future he will be our go to guy.

.Our builder's landscaper cleared our yard of brush and trees before we moved in but did an absolute terrible job of grading the property. Andre came in and did a great job taking away all the humps and holes and reshaping the entire yard. He arrived when he said he would, listened to how we wanted the yard to look like, consulted with us several times while doing the job and the cost was also very reasonable for the 7 hours he had to put in to complete the job. I would definitely recommend his services to a friend or hire him in the future.

Andre is a pleasure to work with. He listened to what we wanted and gave a prompt and detailed estimate. He provided a thoughtful and thorough discussion of variations and options in both design and materials, and saved us ~$1000 by suggesting a minor alteration in what we initially asked for (reducing the length of the patio a few feet so as to avoid a steep grade changed which would have required a brick-and-mortar retaining wall with footers). We were very impressed with his construction methods which yielded a very high quality patio. Andre had to fit the patio against a porch with steps on one side and against the side of our house where a bay window is located on another side: This required a lot of cutting of bricks in order to fit the patio flush against these irregularly shaped structures. The free corner of the patio has a rounded corner which also required cutting of pavers. The quality of these custom cuts is exceptional. Also, all of Andre's workers were respectful and friendly, and clean up of the work site was thorough. I recommend him most highly!!!!!
