"Dustin did a fantastic job! He clearly explained the entire process to us so that we knew exactly what to expect. Even though he was working alone, he got the lines pulled and valves replaced much faster than I expected. He was very polite and considerate of our home, and left the work areas clean. We are very glad that this project was completed so quickly and was so well done."

Small jobs welcome

"I was replacing my garbage disposal and could not remove the old stuck sink flange. Daniel cut it out and installed the new GD. Arrived quickly, knew what he was doing, a pure delight to talk with, very reasonable price. I will not hesitate to call him again."

"Having owned four different houses the past 16 years, this was hands down the best experience with a plumber... ever. We hired WyattWorks to install a laundry sink (the stainless over cabinet kind) which required drilling through the floor to tie-in with supply and drain pipes in our basement. Jeremy performed the work flawlessly and was a true pro: measure and recheck, plan and dry fit, and clean up the work area during and after. The whole process from start to finish was painless!"

"They explained each step to ensure I was aware of how they would determine the extent of the problem along with the options to fix my clogged mainline drain. It meant a lot to have a representative that took the time to explain everything (different resolution options) as well as payment options (cash, credit cards, 0% financing). It was the Best customer service I've experieand job well done!!!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.

Plumbers use a variety of tools to help unclog the toughest of drain clogs, but the most common tools they use are drain snakes and augers. They try a plunger or drain snake to start, then move to heavy-duty augers, and finally try using a hydro jetter to blast away the clog with high-pressure water. Hiring a plumber to unclog a drain costs $125 to $300, largely depending on the extent and location of the clog and which of these methods is best for clearing it.

Bleach is generally not recommended for your shower drains. Although diluted bleach can technically help clean your drain, it will not unclog your pipes. In fact, bleach can harm your plumbing system because it’s so powerful. The bleach can change the color of your sink and even corrode metal pipes and fittings.

Often, people reach for bleach because it's already in their house. But it's worth getting a plunger or a drain snake for the job instead. It'll be a lot less money to buy a new plunger than to pay a plumber to repair or replace damaged pipes.

There are a few reasons your snake won’t go down the floor drain. One common reason is a large obstruction in the drain that is causing a blockage. You can remove any debris you see in the drain before trying to snake it. In addition, the snake might not be long enough to reach the clog, or it might be the wrong diameter.

Professional plumbers use many high-grade chemicals to unclog drains. Many use hydrochloric acid, known as muriatic acid, when it comes to extreme blockages.
