"My installer, Jose, was amazing! He was so accommodating to fit my schedule in a short timeframe. Jose was professional and very knowledgeable about installing tile. He installed my tile quickly and was very clean while working. I would definitely recommend Jose for tile work. Jose is also a great handyman because he also installed my TV on the wall which was difficult to do because the wall was covered in porcelain tile. THANK YOU, JOSE!! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!"

"He was my angel. He came out the very next day after my contacting him. Was able to do the work that was required. Matching the grout - you can't even tell that it had been redone. Extremely affordable. Top of the line service. Very professional and courteous. Very much appreciate their efforts that other service professionals were incapable of doing."

"Alvin did an excellent job re-caulking and re-grouting our shower. He responded to my request promptly, arrived on time for our appointment and went to work the very next day. After he was finished, my shower looked brand new! Alvin was a pleasure to work with. He was very courteous and made sure to explain the work he recommended. A few days after the job was finished, he called to make sure everything was performing as expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Grout haze will appear within a few days of tile installation and should be removed as quickly as possible. That said, if caught early, grout haze can be left overnight while you gather supplies or make arrangements for it to be cleaned—but the grout haze will be more difficult to remove the longer it is left.

Hiring a professional to steam clean tile floors costs between $0.50 and $3.50 per square foot. While the overall cost varies based on the size of the cleaning area, the average expense for an entire house is around $475. If you prefer to do the job yourself, you can rent or purchase steam cleaners for a reasonable price.

If left to dry on tile, grout sealer can have a glossy or hazy appearance. You won’t be able to remove it with water or any basic cleaner; instead, you’ll likely need the help of a chemical stripper to get it off. It’s best to keep a watchful eye on your work while you’re applying the grout sealer, as it’s easy to remove with a cloth or sponge when it’s still wet.

The answer to this question varies by the household, as well as by the room. For high-traffic areas in busier households, aim to mop your floors at least once a week or more as needed. Homes and rooms with less foot traffic can likely get away with mopping every two weeks. Keep an eye on your floors throughout the month and adjust this chore on your household cleaning checklist as necessary.

Yes, if you’re strapped for supplies, boiling hot water can be a great alternative for getting rid of soap scum. However, as this method calls for a bit of soaking, it’s best used when cleaning your bathroom sink or bath basin (or on small objects you can submerge). All you have to do is plug your sink or bathtub drain and pour in enough boiling water to cover the soap scum. Allow it to soak for five minutes, drain, and follow up with an additional hot water rinse to remove any lingering residue.
