"Mike, Isabel, & Aaron worked on our 2 projects: corner shower and bathtub/surround replacements. They were all fantastic to work with, especially given the complexity of the projects. Elijah, on the sales end, was also great and continues to follow up with us. Great team!"

"Ooomee LLC took out my washer and dryer and moved it to my sunroom. They also installed a brand new shower. They had to cut portions of my wall to run new plumbing and electric. You cant even tell that the wall was ever cut. They did a fantastic job and I couldn't be more happy. i would definitely use them again for future projects and would highly recommend them."

"We replaced our bathtub with a walk in shower, and are extremely happy with the work that was provided. In only took one person 6 hours to complete the job, and he was very professional and the quality of work was great. Would hire them again."

"Mike is fantastic. We had a leak in an outer wall that damaged our flooring and the wall. He repaired the leak, replaced the flooring, and installed new wainscoting that I had been wanting on the damaged wall. The quality of his work is top notch and he was so kind and easy to work with. 100% recommend."

Update:

Not only did Alexis reach out to me to make the concern right, he and his crew did an amazing job with the repair/painting work.   as I originally stated I was pleased with his work and would use him again.   He did the repairs and painting at his cost and I only paid for the paint used.   That in my opinion is more than fair!   I am glad l gave Alexis the chance to make it right.   I will use him for future projects around the house.!

They did the original worked that was requested.  They are nice men, but when I experienced an issue with a leaking faucet under my tub and called, I was told it was several months since the work (3) and they were not responsible for any issues with the work.

My garden tub is enclosed with a cultured marble panel.  When installing the new faucet the panel was removed and cracked.   They tried to glue it and put a piece of wood behind it.  I was also told it was like that.  It was not and I said so when told that.   I was also told that there were no shut off valves under my tub and that I should have them.  They went to Lowe's Home Improvement store purchased the valves and installed them.   I paid for the materials.

In January I noticed my ceiling in my living room directly under the tub was leaking in two areas.   I immediately called Alexis and he said he was not responsible for the issue since the work was done a couple of months before.   I asked him what I should do since my ceiling was dripping and was told he couldn't come and would not warranty the work at that point.  (he was in church and would be there into late into the evening).

I had to have another contractor come out to the house that evening and pull everything apart again.   He asked who glued the marble panel liked that and then informed me the valve was what was leaking.   I had to pay for another valve and his time to replace it.

My living room ceiling now has to have two areas of sheetrock replaced and the downstairs will need to be painted because it is an open floor plan and hasn't been painted in several years (cannot blend it in).

I am a single woman who chose to use Angie's List because I thought the work was reputable.   I am hesitant to have any further work done.  I have spoken with Customer Service and was advised to update this review and my experience.

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Completing a full standard bathroom remodel offers the best value, with an average return on investment (ROI) of 70%. However, you don't need a full remodel to make an impact. To maximize value, focus on key components like flooring, the tub and shower, vanity, and cabinets. High-value upgrades include installing a walk-in shower, resurfacing a tub, retiling, or expanding the shower. For more budget-friendly options that still increase value, consider repainting with a light, neutral color, or updating the mirror and light fixtures. It's also crucial to address any necessary repairs, such as leaks, mold, or cracked tiles, as buyers will notice these issues. Avoid flashy upgrades like bathtub jets or steam showers, which don't add as much value.

While tubs are fairly sturdy, you may notice cracks or holes. This kind of damage can happen from someone accidentally dropping something heavy into the tub. You might also see damage if you drop something heavy into the tub over and over again (like your extra large bottle of body wash). While you might only notice a small dent at first, this can later turn into a crack or a hole.

Also, certain cleaners that are harmful to your tub can cause damage. And if you have a fiberglass tub, you might see cracks if it was not installed properly with the right support.

A professional bathtub installation or replacement typically takes one to three days, depending on the project's complexity and any necessary alterations. If you hire a professional, most replacements can be completed in one to three days. However, if you choose the DIY route, the process could take up to a month, as it involves removing the old tub and drywall, installing the new tub, repairing the drywall, and installing new tiling.

A powder room cannot have a bath. If it had a bath, it would likely be considered a three-quarter bath or full bath, depending on the other features. You might hear the term “powder room” used to describe a bathroom used by guests, but it wouldn’t technically be a powder room. However, powder rooms or half baths are ideal for guests because they can use it without entering the more private areas of the home.

It is possible to install a two-in-one unit that has both a shower and a walk-in tub so you can still have both in smaller bathrooms or provide a showerhead for those in the household who prefer taking showers. You’ll hear these referred to as walk-in tub and shower combo units. Keep in mind that these combo units can take up more space than a standard shower or tub, and you’ll most likely need to hire a pro to install one.
