"Phenomenal experience!!! No hassle, no hard-sell/upselling techniques. Just great people selling quality windows with a "we are here for you when are ready and you need us" attitude. The process was simple (no home visit required for anything except the actual installation). Ty, our "Chief Happiness Officer and Partner" (literally...that was his title in his email signature!), was always just an email/phone call away and his response time was fantastic. He educated us on the various type of windows and seemed to take his cool title very seriously--making us 100% happy was his goal. (He succeeded!) We replaced every window in our house and were able to mix and match our choices--some casements, some sliders, some non-opening picture windows, and some traditional double-hung. We were also able to mix which windows were to have fake muntins (white crossbars to match the "neighborhood look") and which would be all-glass unobstructed (for viewing the wooded backyard and birdfeeder, for example). This flexibility truly left us with a result that was tailored to us, our house, and our lifestyle. They also stand by their products and the quality customer service does not stop after the check is cashed. Two other people that stood out were 1) installation manager Scott and 2) Kurt who came out to help resolve an issue that was discovered after the project was completed. I don't expect we will need windows again in this house; if we did, we would certainly start with Zen Windows again. It was a smooth and easy and friendly process! Great company!"

"Payne Roberts was so personable and knew what he was talking about. His presentation of the windows kept me fully engaged, his enthusiasm about this company, it's growth and everyone there that keeps it growing. This shows a man that definitely believes in what he says. Payne wanted so badly for me to get these windows because he saw how bad mine was that he tried everything that he could including missing an appointment while waiting for my family to call back to help me. I really want to do business with this company, to have the person you are talking with believe in it so much, I will not even think of getting my windows done anywhere else. Thanks, Payne, for being the person who came to my house. I will find a way to get my windows done through Legacy Home Remodeling."

"The process was easy. Danny the sales man was very passionate about there product. The windows look great and life time warranty is great. I will for sure use them again on the rest of our windows. I do wish there were more discounts but either way well worth it."

"They drilled holes in the drive to inject the polymer to lift the section, along with sealing cracks and holes to prevent future problems. Madison, Jeff, Kelvin, and Wes communicated what they were doing and what to expect from start to finish. They were on-time, courteous, welcomed questions, and professional. The leveling work gave me the results they described. While their price was a bit more expensive, their work and customer focus was worth it."

"Travis and his assistant were both friendly, upfront and highly skilled in their craft. They were able to spot errors of others and even fix it right before my eyes. I will most definitely hire them again to replace my shower in a month or two and will highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace a glass shower."

"I purchased the offer for 4 man hours of labor for $180 for what I considered to be fairly basic "handymen" type repairs - installing new towel bars in bathrooms and hanging some paintings and mirrors - maybe two of which were a little heavier than normal, but absolutely manageable by two people.

All of the hardware for the bathroom was the same so it should have been pretty easy to complete the first bath and copy/paste in the others.

Bottom line, the two "handymen" were pretty slow in my opinion and their skill level of hanging the various items was poor - my husband could have done a much better job by himself and not left pencil marks (not just a dot or an 'x', but lines over 6 inches long) all over my newly painted walls and in some cases multiple for the same mirror where they messed up.

They used tape to help them mark the lines, which when removed pulled up some of the wall paint.  I gave them some touch up paint, but that of course only added to the overall time as they waited for paint to dry.  One guy was clearly instructing the other how to do things so I did not feel he was very skilled.

I purchased the wall anchors for the mirrors and paintings and they ended up taking the remainder of the box with them when they left.

As some others wrote in their review, I'm sure the quality of the work is dependent on which guys arrive at your house.  I felt like I got the "B" or "C" team.

Based on my experience with this simple job I would not use Bizzzy Bee again, and certainly not for anything more complicated.  Scheduling was fine and they were not overly late, but the cost to quality ratio was way out of line.  And the resulting "clean up" I have to do to my walls after their visit, was not worth it."

"We were impressed from the beginning. The windows are a great quality. The team that did the installation was excellent. We were impressed with how smooth the installation was. We would definitely recommend The Window Source to anyone looking for a quality product for a great price. Super job! Thank you!"

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Replacing a glass pane is much less expensive than replacing your entire window. The average person will pay between $180 and $400 to replace a glass window pane. This price can vary based on a ton of factors, including labor costs in your area, special window treatments, and the number of panes on your window.

Yes, selecting double glazing or low-E coatings to reduce energy costs.

In terms of initial material and installation, glass stair railings are costlier than railings made from materials like wood, metal, or cable. Whether they are worth the investment often comes down to personal preference. Glass railings can offer a high return on investment, both in monetary value when it's time to sell and in the bold styling and functionality they add to a home. They provide a high level of safety, see-through functionality, and a unique appearance that other materials cannot replicate. From a maintenance perspective, glass railings require little to stay in working order but do need frequent cleaning to look their best.

You should always pack glasses standing up. It will eliminate the pressure that comes with weight when delicate items are stacked on top of each other horizontally. Don’t forget to wrap each glass individually with bubble wrap, and don’t add anything on top except for additional padding. Always mark these boxes as fragile.

Despite their popularity and modern styling, glass railings have a few drawbacks. The first is their high initial cost. While they cost little to maintain, they can be costly to install. Also, scratches and chips in the glass are highly visible and require repairs. Additionally, glass railings require frequent cleaning to maintain their good looks.
