"I did my research on a number of window companies, had 3-4 quotes all at our home, they all gave me the hard sell " I can do this discounted offer today only" line and to be honest I began to get really frustrated with them. i then came across Zen windows, 4.9 stars and some great reviews. I requested a quote expecting to make an appointment and someone come out to me ? But after an email from TY with a bunch of in-depth questions about what I wanted, I received my quote with a lot of window information and a recommendation of a brand of window I had done my research on, I had to ask when someone would come out to see me,Ty told me the companies does not do that or the hard sell, to be honest they even tried to save me money straight away. The price they gave me was at least half of the quotes I had been given from the other companies, and at least $25k less than one of them. I placed my order and was kept in the loop of everything that would happen by Sandy. The day arrived for my fitment and it could not of gone any smoother the team that did the installation were, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and clean and tidy!, the job was completed in two days ( 16 windows ). I would not hesitate to recommend Zen Windows to anyone 5 stars!"

"Payne Roberts was so personable and knew what he was talking about. His presentation of the windows kept me fully engaged, his enthusiasm about this company, it's growth and everyone there that keeps it growing. This shows a man that definitely believes in what he says. Payne wanted so badly for me to get these windows because he saw how bad mine was that he tried everything that he could including missing an appointment while waiting for my family to call back to help me. I really want to do business with this company, to have the person you are talking with believe in it so much, I will not even think of getting my windows done anywhere else. Thanks, Payne, for being the person who came to my house. I will find a way to get my windows done through Legacy Home Remodeling."

"They were cost effective, compared to other companies. Their work was on time and professionally done. The look of the window compared favorably with my original wood windows. I am happy with my decision and with their work."

"They drilled holes in the drive to inject the polymer to lift the section, along with sealing cracks and holes to prevent future problems. Madison, Jeff, Kelvin, and Wes communicated what they were doing and what to expect from start to finish. They were on-time, courteous, welcomed questions, and professional. The leveling work gave me the results they described. While their price was a bit more expensive, their work and customer focus was worth it."

"Windows are good. Work was sloppy. Still finding shards of glass on the floor and the furniture a week after completion. Caulking looks like a third grader did it- including caulking the screen door to the frame. For this type of investment, they should act like professionals."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Hard water stains can permanently damage your glass if left untreated. The minerals dissolved in the water can etch the glass, causing long-term damage and affecting the overall integrity of the surface. Luckily, it is pretty simple to remove hard water stains by using vinegar, baking soda, or commercial cleaners.

You should dust your mirrors once every one to two weeks as a part of your normal cleaning routine, and you should plan on cleaning with a glass cleaner or DIY cleaning solution once a month or so. This will help reduce the buildup of hygiene products like hair spray on the mirror, as well as oils and dirt from fingers. You can always spot-clean between regular cleanings if you notice your mirror getting dirty or smudged.

You can use a commercial water repellent treatment for glass on your shower doors to prevent water spots. Take care to only apply the product to glass. Letting air circulate also helps prevent water spots, as water is less likely to remain on the glass for a long time with good air circulation. Run your vent fan, open a window, and leave the shower door open for about half an hour after using the shower.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.

This can be a matter of personal preference, but a good rule of thumb is to center your bathroom mirror over the sink’s faucet. In some cases, if the sink is off-center in the vanity or  you have multiple sinks in the same vanity, you may find it more aesthetically pleasing to center the mirror over the vanity.
