"We needed to have a room done quickly that we had already gutted but decided it was to much for us to finish in the short time we had to get it done due to family come to town, Bryant was able to work things around to help us get it done, he came on Monday gave me an estimate I told him our situation and he was able to work some magic and started work on Tuesday and finished the drywall on Thursday! His crew was great and he came to check on the progress and did the cleaning on the last day. Great team and I definitely will call him again for my next project."

"Jesùs and his team are great workers. They work quickly and do a very professional job. The walls are smooth and they even did a primer coat so it was easier when we painted. They keep a clean work site and stay in contact about pricing and any questions. We have worked with this company more than once and even referred them to friends in our neighborhood. I would trust them to do work in our home anytime. They have done framing, trim carpentry, and installation of doors and rails as well as painting and drywall work."

"They did an excellent job from beginning to end power washing and staining my gazebo. The gazebo looks new! They did a pristine job cleaning up after project was completed. Came when scheduled. Fair price. I would hire them again. I recommend them to others."

"I was extremely nervous about my color choices as I had decided to not just use the same color that had always been on the house. I asked his opinion between two and Jesse helped me decide. They did an excellent job of cleaning the exterior and both of my decks. Just saw my new color up on the exterior last night. Love it. I am a bit of a control freak but I had to trust that they were professional and knew what and how to do the job. I am glad I trusted in them."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Plaster ceilings can sag for several reasons. In some cases, the plaster and other building materials shift and come apart over time, which is why you’ll commonly find drooping plaster ceilings in older homes. Improper installation, foot traffic, and water damage—often from a leaky roof or a broken pipe—can also cause plaster ceilings to sag.

If you suspect black mold is inside your walls, do not punch a hole in the drywall yourself to look. Call a mold inspection expert to help you. Some signs of a potential black mold infestation inside the wall include an unexplained musty, damp smell. Some people liken it to rotting vegetables. You may smell it most strongly through a wall outlet. If you and your family are experiencing constant coughing or symptoms that feel like an unexplained allergy, it could indicate black mold behind a wall.

Applying plaster to a wall will usually cost between $2 and $10 per square foot for both the material and labor. The cost will vary based on the quality of the plaster you’re using and whether or not prep work is required before the work begins. Wall prep can add up to about 10% to your total costs. Plastering exterior walls can be more expensive in many cases because they are taller and require scaffolding and safety equipment.

You’ll get better results if you soundproof the whole wall. A hole through which light can pass can also let sound waves in. Acoustical or silicone sealant applied to holes and cracks can block enough sound to make a difference. However, the more layers absorb vibrations and slow or stop sound waves, the less noise you’ll have.

A post-drywall inspection could uncover many problems that weren’t present during the pre-drywall inspection, including insufficient insulation, missing weather stripping, improperly installed plumbing and lighting fixtures, flooring damage, drywall damage, plumbing leaks, aesthetic issues, and more. Structural problems, which are often expensive to fix and are common reasons to walk away after a home inspection, are easier to see before the drywall goes up, but a post-drywall inspection may highlight minor issues with house settling and foundation problems.
