"These technician is assigned to diagnose refrigerator ice maker issue. He came in other day to diagnose the issue. He hardly stayed 5 mins and said we need to switch off the refrigerator for 24 hours before he can diagnose the issue. He said he will come back on wednesday morning hours to diagnose the issue. But he updated the warranty company saying it product issue and should be covered under product warranty. Why these technicians are so dishonest on this, and i have seen technicians doing these for last couple of claim request."

"I have used Mr. Appliance in the past and had good experiences. However, a recent experience with them was so dreadful, I have to caution people to avoid this business. I was having new floors put into my home. In order to do that, my appliances had to be disconnected and reconnected. I called Mr. Appliance and they said sure. What I didn't know at the time is that the company now has set fees for dealing with appliances independent of job or size. So, for example, to move (twice) my fairly small wine chiller--2x3 feet--was over 600.00. They moved my microwave, which I had not asked for, and charged me over 300.00. All told, to move a fridge, wine cooler, microwave, dishwasher and stacked washer and dryer, Mr. Appliance charged me 2612.00. I should add that a friend--we had to be elsewhere for our floor replacement--watched all this work. None of it, except for moving the refrigerator was difficult and most was accomplished in minutes. "My young first time homeowner daughter called the ARS location in Knightdale, NC on 06/24/2025 to fix an inoperable AC unit. Tech came out and said the compressor fan motor and capacitor was "locked up" and needed to be replaced at a cost of $2600. He also said it would be a couple of days to get parts. It was 90 degrees in the house and 94 upstairs. He then sent his salesman to discuss a complete replacement on a 13 year old system. He left knowing her fiance worked from home and the home was very HOT. He charged $116 for the service call and left. I came over while the salesman was there discussing estimates. I walked outside and turned the fan by hand and it started running. The fan motor was NOT locked up. I ran up to the parts house and bought a $17 capacitor and replaced it. It's been running ever since. It took me basically an hour to drive in traffic, pick up part and replace it. During this whole time the salesman finished his pitch and sat in his car on the street for over an hour. Nice work ethic right? I called the company to try and talk to a manager about my experience and I got a call center that said somebody will call me. You can not call the company and talk to a manager. I called the HQ and still nothing. I really don't think there is a quality control manager as they say there is. No callback as of yet. They tried to take advantage of my young daughter just to make a sale for a complete replacement which was not needed and left her in the heat. They don't care about their customers and just push the upsale of a complete replacement. I fixed this system for $17 when they wanted minimum $2600 and days to fix in a major heat wave. I called another company and they said they would do this same repair if needed for $350. I feel the least they can do is refund my daughters $116 for the "lack of service call." Never again!!!! Read the reviews on Yelp and Google. Not the 4.5 rating on their website. They are CROOKS!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES........"
