"Garcia Fence did a great job on our small backyard fence project for our new puppy Izzy. Frank and Derrick were very responsive to our questions and requirements. They made sure the fence did not have any gaps or areas for our little escape artist to test her skills. They used premium materials and the workmanship was top notch. We had a tricky area for them to navigate due to multiple, power, internet and drainage obstacles."

"Jose Cruz did a wonderful job power washing our 200 ft, 25 yr old western red cedar fence and staining it back to its original cedar color. It now looks like a new fence. His crew also power washed our house, and garage. Everything looks GREAT!!! We will definitely use his services again!! Thanks, Dennis & Beth Jessup"

"The guys came out and fixed our fence that had been up for 62 years. Someone ran into our fence and took about 40 feet of our fence down. These guys replace our old fence and did a beautiful job. With the fence bing so old,I was afraid of what it was going to look like when it was fixed. These guys did a beautiful job in putting new fence that matched ours and it looks so pretty now and I am so proud of it now. I would highly recommend these guys to my best friend or anyone that needs to have a new fence or have it repaired. They matched our fence perfectly. We are very proud of our fence now and so thankful for the job they did."

"I had a great video call with Angelica she was patient and showed me multiple fence styles. I really do appreciate her taking the time to create each fence and show me on screen what it would look like once done & then showing my quote for each one! Great job!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Homeowners in Lexington often underestimate how the region’s clay soil affects drainage, causing posts to shift or rot prematurely. Skipping a property survey can lead to boundary disputes. Choosing untreated wood or materials not suited for NC’s humidity results in faster deterioration. Failing to trim back local vegetation allows vines and roots to damage fencing. Overlooking required permits can also stall projects or create compliance issues in Lexington.

Helpful?

In Lexington, address fence repairs right away if you notice leaning posts, broken panels, or gaps that could let pets escape—especially before summer storms. If the fence impacts property boundaries or HOA compliance, don’t delay. Minor cosmetic fixes or touch-ups can often wait until early spring or fall, when humidity drops and fence contractors in Lexington typically have more availability for routine maintenance.

Helpful?

Delaying fence repair in Lexington can lead to rapid wood rot and mold due to the area’s high humidity. Damaged fences are more likely to collapse during summer thunderstorms, risking property damage and disputes with neighbors. Pests like termites and carpenter bees can spread quickly in untreated wood. Postponing repairs may also reduce your property value and violate local HOA guidelines, leading to additional headaches.

Helpful?

In Lexington, watch for posts that tilt after heavy rain, as shifting clay soil is common. Fences with warped or split boards, especially on the south side where sun exposure is strongest, often need attention. Persistent mildew, visible termite holes, or carpenter bee damage are red flags. Gates that drag or won’t latch after storms also signal structural issues unique to Lexington’s weather patterns.

Helpful?

In Lexington, neglecting regular fence maintenance—like clearing leaves and pine needles—lets moisture linger, which speeds up rot and mold, especially in shaded yards. Allowing grass or vines to grow against the fence traps humidity and invites pests. Using lawn equipment too close to posts can chip or crack materials. Overlooking gutter runoff or poor drainage in Lexington’s clay-rich soil can also undermine fence stability over time.
