Their operations manager was at my home at 11am the next day and was able to give me a proposal in writing for the project before he left. The work commenced three days later. The installers did a fantastic job of removing my pinestraw, installing metal edging and putting down mulch. They even added extra areas without charge that were not including in the proposal! From beginning to end, everyone with whom I interacted from Earthscape was lovely: kind, professional and happy to be doing the job...the kind of people I would love to have as neighbors. I cannot recommend The Earthscape Company highly enough and have already recommended them to two neighbors that have projects Earthscape could do. "We have had many landscapers over the years. None have been as honest or frankly as fun to deal with as Gabriel. We had our front beds weeded and laid down river rock. It looks absolutely amazing. Gabriel suggested starting smaller with the rock order, basically an order more if needed approach. I appreciated this as it kept the costs controlled and didn’t leave me with mounds of unused material. On top of doing a wonderful job, he has made suggestions to expand our therapeutic riding program to include kids in foster care (promising to also volunteer). It’s apparent Gabe cares about quality, honesty, and building relationships, consistently asking if we were happy with the work. We will definitely be hiring Gabe and Dream Homz Landscaping again! Stone and gravel services FAQs
The average cost of a gravel driveway is about $1.25 to $2 per square foot, including the cost of materials, equipment, and professional installation. A gravel driveway should be at least 4 to 6 inches deep, depending on the soil it’s installed on. Softer soil that doesn’t drain well should have a deeper gravel driveway. Because gravel moves, it requires different maintenance than asphalt or concrete. Here are a few maintenance tips for your gravel driveway. Every few years (or as often as needed):

Plowing in the winter can be challenging and the gravel can develop ruts or potholes that need to be repaired, but the cost and longevity of gravel compared to concrete, asphalt, and pavers makes gravel an economical option, especially for long and/or wide driveways.
