The work was completed as scheduled by a crew that arrived on time and completed the work quickly and professionally. Kale Lawn has maintained our yard for years, but we recently asked them to help update our landscaping. Jeff Kale and his team met with us several times and listened to our goals and ideas and came up with a great plan that we could see visually. They met with us again to go through the plan and executed the removal and replanting wonderfully. We are thrilled with our new landscaping and how painless the process was for us. Jeff's Kale's crew was so careful and hardworking and very respectful of our property. Their work was meticulous.

Jeff was more than happy to come out to look at what I wanted done. Right before he left I was told I'd have a quote today. The quote I got just said I'm out of his service area. If you don't want to do the job just be upfront about it. Update as of 02/23/2021: After some miscommunication between Jeff Kale, his office & myself we got sorted & I went ahead & let them do the job. The guys came out yesterday to rip out the garden that was put in place by the previous owner & had them install a flagstone extension to my patio & I couldn't be happier with the results. I feel like I beat him up pretty good in my earlier review & this update was more than earned/warranted/justified. I'll want to finish off the lawn probably later in the fall. Being I just bought the house (and having to buy everything that comes along with buying a new home) I just didn't have the budget to do it all right now. I'll make sure to reach out to Jeff & his team again when that time comes.

There was some confusion in the Angie's List message that the office replied to as we do not normally work in the Rock Hill area. In my absence the office was unaware that I already had a meeting with this customer so they replied that we do not do work in this area. Pavers and Hardscaping Service
Jeff was very responsive. He promptly returned all my calls and answered all my questions and concerns. The blue stone patio turned out beautifully. The dry creek bed has helped with the drainage and wet muddy areas of the yard after a rain. Some of the plants he installed did not do well but we had one of the hottest summers on record and that contributed to a lot of pest and disease control problems. Jeff agreed to replace those at the appropriate time.

Jeff, and his team, have been great to work with. I reached out about landscaping work needed as well as a consult related to drainage issue in the backyard. Jeff responded quickly, set up time to meet, and came out to provide a quote. He is knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and what I wanted to acheive. From there, we scheduled a date to have the work completed - both spring landscaping refresh and drainage work. He was on-site with his crew. The team was punctual, professional, and did great work overall. I'm very optimistic about the drainage solution Jeff put in place as well -- we received heavy rain recently and I noticed a nice improvement already. I'm also using Kale for monthly lawn maintainence. We're about 3-4 weeks in -- and again, the team is doing great work and have kept to their schedule.

We had a time scheduled for Jeff to come out and give us a quote. We had our materials ready and took time off for this. Unfortunately, he called about 40 minutes before the appointment to tell us "they don't service our area" even though we are indeed in Charlotte. It was a good thing they called to not waste any more of our time, but like any good business should, they should do the back-end work to make sure their "willing to pay" customers are served in the best way possible. There's no excuse for being unprepared — super unprofessional.

What can I say that 5 stars can't? I had been looking for a landscaper for a home that I purchased with a badly neglected front lawn (I use the word "lawn" very loosely, as by this point it was a collection of weeds with a blade of grass here and there). I wanted to remove the grass and put a mix of flowers, edible plants, and black mulch. I interviewed about 5 landscapers all who seemed very capable. I chose Jeff because he was personable and obviously very passionate about what he does.. Jeff and Dave were super easy to work with. I had a few plants that I liked and they were able to tell me what would work best and why. They paired the plants on my list with other plants that really made everything pop visually when placed together. In the end, they designed a beautiful space that I couldn't have imagined myself. All while keeping to my requirements of having a low-maintenance and drought resistant yard. They installed sod in my barren yard-new build. Looks amazing. All the grass caught and we have a lush carpet yard. I now have a beautiful space that has flowers and plenty of edible additions. I sometimes catch myself staring out the window just admiring the landscaping. My neighbors all love it as well. I definitely recommend Jeff and team

Owners promises a lot & delivers almost nothing. Have placed several calls, desperate about the appearance of my property! Lawn has bald patches, absolutely NO mulch in any front beds, shrubs & small trees in front beds completely ignored! I explained i wanted a full service company, I did not want to have to constantly call regarding the maintenance of ALL aspects of lawn care & was finally met with a very unprofessional response of "I SHOULD FIND ANOTHER LANDSCAPING COMPANY"!

My team that services this property has reported back to me several times about the mistreatment and rude conduct directed at them while there. These guys do not deserve that which is why I was there today to address concerns. I was met by the same demeanor. so yes. I said it... you should try another service. I started this company 21 years ago, I'm proud of what I built.... I stand tall and will admit errors when made but will not accept myself or my team being disrespected which in this case means I get a F rating."

It went very well. Jeff is a real professional. He responded quickly and came out to provide an estimate. The estimate was right within our budget, and his team was scheduled to do the job within the week. The team was friendly, responsive, and they did a real quality job. They did the whole job within 2-3 hours (which would have taken me multiple weekends to do), and did a nice job with cleanup.

We were looking for a complete lawn care (mowing, seeding, fertilizing, etc.). I really wanted someone to just take care of it because of our busy schedules. We found Kale Lawn Care on Angies list. They scheduled a time to come by, they heard my concerns with the previous company we were using and we developed a plan to make the yard look good. We've been using them for almost two months and super happy with their level of professionalism and work so far. We also had them do a clean up of leaves and weeds to get the place looking nice and the crew they sent out was very courteous and did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend using Kale Lawn Care.

What a great company! They spent a lot of time with me talking through my ideas; they offered suggestions but did not try to oversell me. Communication/keeping me up to date was timely. The team was pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable. I have since hired them for year around services.
