"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. I will definately be hiring this company in the future."

After setting up, she approached me and said she had made a mistake and didn't understand that she was painting the gables. The estimate we accepted stated painting 3 gables and soffitts. She said she needed to re-estimate the work. Eventually, we agreed on a new [much higher price that her boss approved.] She did very little work before she went back to the company van and sat in it. The office manager arrived to say that she was sick and someone else would be coming the next morning to do the agreed upon job. He started the job and my husband went to talk to him. He stated he was only doing the gables per his boss. The boss called immediately and was irate. He insisted the work was only to paint the gables. I told him we had both a written estimate and video recording [of the renegotiation] stating the work to be done. He insisted we pay more. I asked why, we already agreed and he hung up on me. "
