Every part of this visit was well executed.

The service is excellent. They know what they are doing, better even than the dealers. They are pricey but good.

My check engine light came on and I would soon need an emissions test so delaying a repair was not an option. I had already scanned the computer so I knew in general what systems were involved. An O2 sensor was bad so that was fairly routine but the other code had to do with an intake manifold sensor that was out of range. An internet search told me that the latter was an expensive repair since Volkswagen, in the company's infinite wisdom, made the manifold unrepairable and a new part was $800. The techs at GSM were able to repair the assembly and saved me probably $700. Work on any German car is stupid expensive and these guys were no exception but they were a lot cheaper than the dealer. They also could have told me I neede3d a new manifold and would have been none the wiser. But they did not. My overall impression is that it is an honest shop that does quality work for a reasonable although not cheap price. They fixed what needed repair in the time they promised and did not inflate the price. I was impressed with their work and will use them again.

They were absolutely fantastic. The service was good. They were on top of everything from day one. They were great guys to deal with. They didn't oversell or undersell me. They asked what I wanted and got me what I wanted. It was just great. They had the best price of the ones that I priced. I would definitely use them again.
