"The service was superior from the initial contact where I requested a quote to the installation. I spoke with Samantha to arrange for someone to come out to provide me with a quote and she promptly scheduled an appointment around my schedule. Mike came out and provided me with several options for a heat pump and promptly sent me an email with the heat pump options and prices. I had contacted 4 other HVAC companies in my area that also provided me with estimates. Accu-Rite Services was the only company that followed up to see if I had any questions and to see if I was still in the process of replacing my heat pump. I called Accu-Rite Services a couple times with questions and Samantha was quick to provide an answer and was very knowledgeable. I scheduled a date for my installation and Accu-Rite Services showed up on time for the scheduled appointment. The installation was really quick, old heat pump was removed, new heat pump installed, everything completely cleaned up and new thermostat was installed. Mike gave a thorough explanation of how the heat pump and thermostat worked. Accu-Rite Services took care of registering my heat pump, scheduled county inspection and also checked for any rebates that were available for me. I absolutely love my new heat pump. "I called this morning around 8:00 am, and a friendly woman named Tonya answered my call. (Several other places I called only had voice mails. I really appreciated being able to speak to someone right away about my issue.) She arranged to have a technician at my house within two hours. Doug, the technician called to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived promptly. He did a thorough check of the AC unit, and he explained everything he was doing to get it back up and running. He discovered that when the unit was first installed eleven years ago, a filter was left in the unit that should not have been left in it. It is in our attic crawl space, and no one has ever checked it, including several other AC service workers who have checked this unit in the past. That filter looked like a piece of cardboard, it was so dirty. Doug got everything back up and running. He was very professional and very friendly. I highly recommend this company. "Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

They installed my unit, put in new ducts, thermostat, repaired ongoing issues, took the dinosaur unit and cleaned up and cleared debri beautifully. I had the best experience and I would 100% tell anyone to go to McKinneys if they want top notch service, equipment, and security in their purchase at the most reasonable price. All other quotes given by others were astronomical... I was given an AWESOME price. Actually I feel I didn't pay them enough. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
