However, after scheduling twice for services provided by service plan, only to have them cancelled and told need to reschedule. Today is was need to reschedule because they are anticipating (four days from now) a high volume of emergency calls due to cold weather and freezing temperatures. What cold weather? 52 and 43 at night are not freezing temps; 69 and 67 daytime are not freezing temps. So you reschedule appointments four days in advance with no actual justification or confirmation the day of of what you think might happen? Sounds more like laziness or a reason not to fulfill appointments made almost two weeks prior. Second, why have an online system that allows you to book an appointment and date but when you call to complete the appointment process, tell us that the dates that show on the calendar as “available” don’t actually mean they are available? The lady I spoke to said they are run by two different departments. Sounds like you need to update your systems and booking process that actually shows dates of availability so customers don’t waste time picking a date that isn’t actually available and waste time. Or get rid of calendar option altogether so you cannot select a date that isn’t in “real” time."

"Had NC Master plumber come out to hopefully hook up a new vanity in a bathroom. He charges $129 to come look at the job and after he brags about himself being a master plumber for quite a while he gave me an astronomical estimate on installing 2 new water valves, hooking up the drain line and installing a faucet. $975 to install the valves and hook up the drain and $475 just to install the faucet. When I asked him why it was so expensive, he then continued on about him being a master plumber and if he couldn't get the amount of $ he quoted, he just won't do the job. He then went on to inform me several times that he would be happy just to collect his $129 service call and get to the lake to go kayaking. I felt John was way more interested in collecting his $129 and then going kayaking and never intended to do any work, but to just collect his service fee. Ended up getting another estimate from a licensed plumber to do the exact same job and he did the work for $275 that took them about 2 hours. Buyer beware that NC Master Plumber, in my opinion, just wants to collect his service call fee and flee. What a rip-off. Please don't let him do this to you"

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day.
