"Jeremy assessed the problem and gave us a few scenarios with prices. Before jumping to the most expensive solution, he suggested replacing the toilet first (and explained why). When asked, he recommended an $89 toilet at Lowes and told us why - this alone saved money. When he came back 3 days later (to fit our schedule), he removed the toilet and looked in the lines, only to find a root/vines. But instead of jumping to the conclusion of a broken line, he investigated further to find the pipes weren't broken at all. After a quick clean out and installing the new toilet, he was done. It took only 2.5 hours. Jeremy was professional, friendly, and forthcoming with information. We would definitely call him again and easily recommend him."

"They came and gave me a quote of 4500, I needed the job done so I hired them They sent another company to suck the tank out and they discovered that my tolites was running water they had some suggestions well I repair them and that fixed my problem then the guys from superior came and run the pressure washer and the job wound up costing me 5144 and in advance I told them I was on disability and fixed income, I highly recommend looking around before taking with these guys I know I feel like I was taken advantage of, they will never do any business for me again, another company found the problem and told me how to fix it, I fixed it, and superior made the money for it to me this is a big ripoff"

Technically, you can put an elongated toilet seat on a round toilet, but it’s not a good idea. Elongated toilet seats are a few inches longer than round toilets, so they will hang over the front edge of your toilet, which isn’t appealing. The toilet should rest 10, 12, or 14 inches from the back wall. As for other clearances, 15 inches is the minimum distance from the flange to any side wall or nearby fixture, including the shower, tub, and sink. Modern codes also require at least 24 inches of clear space in front of the toilet.

A toilet flapper will remain open when the chain that it is connected to is too short. The chain should lift the flapper just enough to allow it to open the rest of the way on its own. The chain should have just about half an inch of slack.

Check connections, clean fixtures, and apply finishing or protective coatings to preserve months' worth of shine and functionality.

If you have to hold the toilet handle (also called the toilet lever) down to flush, you probably have a chain problem. A chain that cannot fully lift the flapper will close too early and not clear the toilet bowl. Try adjusting the chain length so there’s about ½ inch of slack.
