I contacted before my closing and while I was while I was in town for it had them come over for and estimate, I contracted them Monday 11/10. When I came back Saturday morning 11/15 the job was done. The ceiling turned out beautiful, the place was completely cleaned and neat, the even vacuumed cleaned the new carpeting. I am extremely pleased with Straight Edge and highly recommend them. Now just waiting for the movers com come."

On the positive side, they had great availability and the drywall finish seems solid. However, three issues made this frustrating: 1. Punctuality: The contractor was an hour late on the second day, which led to visible rushing to finish the job. 2. Cleanliness: The site was left dirty. When I pointed this out, the contractor was dismissive, telling me 'it comes off easy with a wet rag' rather than cleaning it up themselves, or even apologizing for leaving the job site dirty. 3. Billing: Despite a signed contract stating payment was due upon the due date listed on the invoice, they changed the invoice due date after the work was done and badgered me for immediate payment. Good workmanship doesn't excuse poor service and disjointed billing practices."
