Customers say: Quality work

"Excellent! This job took several days since each coat of drywall mud needed to dry before paint primer and painting began. AB Drywall always arrived on time and cleaned up the work area before leaving for the day. What I really like was AB Drywall was able to apply a smooth application of mud which eliminated sanding which causes a mess from the dust. Highly recommend AB Drywall!"

"Completely trustworthy, showed up when he said they would and finished within one day of original estimation of finish date. Installed 160 feet of sheetrock on metal studs. Installed about 2400 sq feet of drywall, mudded, and finished. You cannot detect a single seam"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

You do not need to drywall over most types of garage insulation. However, doing so can increase noise reduction, make the space more attractive, and keep children and pets from touching harmful fiberglass insulation. If you’re using cellulose or some other type of blown-in insulation (fiberglass and mineral wool are common), you will need drywall to contain the insulation material.

For maximum stability, install grab bars on wall studs, as this will adequately support the weight. However, if you don't have access to studs, you can get by with wall anchors. If opting for the latter, choose specialty hollow wall anchors.

Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.

Whether you need drywall anchors depends on your specific project, particularly where you are hanging an item. Drywall anchors are not necessary if you can drive a screw directly into a wooden stud behind the wall, as the stud provides sufficient support. However, since studs are not present everywhere in a wall, you will need to use drywall anchors if you are hanging an object in a location without a stud. For very lightweight items, picture hanging strips can also be a suitable alternative.

White walls are the toughest color to keep clean and maintain, as they’re extremely unforgiving when it comes to dirt, splatters, dust, and smudges. Still, many people look past their high-maintenance requirements because they lighten and modernize a space beautifully. If you’re opting for white walls, it’s especially important to keep up with regular cleanings, so they stay pristine.
