"Spectacular Transformation - by LAS Drywall Recently, I had the pleasure of witnessing firsthand the exceptional workmanship and attention to detail by Luis, the owner of LAS Drywall, as he transformed an ordinary back porch into a stunning, functional space. From the get-go, Luis showcased his professionalism and dedication to the project. He arrived promptly for a consultation and provided a reasonable quote with a clear explanation of each stage. Luis's attention to detail is unparalleled, and his skill in crafting an aesthetically pleasing yet structurally sound porch is truly impressive. He took the time to ensure each framing was precise and seamlessly integrated into the existing structure - even in challenging areas. His craft is rooted in genuine talent and expertise, resulting in a porch that is both beautiful and well-built. In addition to his technical proficiency, Luis's commitment to excellent customer service really sets him apart. He kept us informed of his progress at every phase, patiently answering our questions and addressing any concerns. Moreover, he maintained a clean and organized work area, leaving no trace of debris once the job was completed. The newly framed porch now serves as a gorgeous extension of our living space, thanks to Luis's top-notch work. If you're looking for an expert in drywall installation, look no further than Luis and his team at LAS Drywall."

"Straight Edge Painting Pros guys did awesome. It was exactly what I had imagined. Wes was very helpful in stating having the drywall ready for paint included priming and repairing imperfections which took an extra day. The guys took the time to make sure the drywall is perfect and ready for me to paint and also installed new baseboards."

Customers say: True professional

"Hector and his crew did a great job working on two of our bedrooms. They removed the existing popcorn ceiling and repaired the drywall before painting. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The quality of the jobs and the cleanup were outstanding. I highly recommend Right Pro. It is hard to find this type of quality work and customer service in todayâ s service industry."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

The best tool for cutting a hole in drywall is a drywall saw. Its serrated blade and ergonomic design make it efficient for both straight cuts and more intricate shapes, ensuring clean and precise results in various drywall cutting applications.

Yes, even if you’re being careful, removing tile can damage your drywall to some degree. However, you can minimize the damage done to it by eliminating a majority of the grout and taking your time prying each tile off. Also, it's worth noting that you might have more drywall damages to deal with if your tile is set into the mortar.

This depends on how much plaster is applied and in how many layers, but a decent estimate is around 150 square feet. If you are applying only two coats on a small wall, there is a chance you may only need one or two gallons for the entire project. If you are plastering a large living room wall with high ceilings, using one of the more involved techniques–like Scagliola–that requires several coats, expect the project materials costs to add up quickly.

If you want to reduce sound transmission throughout your home, soundproofing drywall is a better choice than standard drywall. However, simply installing soundproofing drywall may not completely block out noise. You’ll get the best results from incorporating it into a larger soundproofing plan that includes proper insulation and framing studs.

Yes, a fan can help drywall mud dry faster by improving air circulation and reducing humidity in the room. Drywall mud dries through evaporation, so increasing airflow speeds up this process. However, you should position the fan to blow across the room rather than directly on the wet mud. This helps prevent drying too quickly, which can cause cracking. You should also use a dehumidifier if high humidity is an issue.
