"I initially scheduled an appointment to have my dryer vents cleaned. Kevin arrived earlier than the scheduled time and that was much appreciated (he actually called to ask if he could come earlier). After he took care of the dryer vents, I asked if he could take a quick look at the fan/exhaust in one of my bathrooms and let me know if I could schedule a later date to have those cleaned. Not only did Kevin take a look, but he cleaned them with a smile and no extra charge. Kevin, with Appalachian Air Ducts, is a true professional and I will absolutely hire them in the future!"

"From start to finish . . we had a great experience. Larry and Marlon came within a day of contacting Horne to evaluate our previous HVAC and see exactly what we needed. It was determined that our HVAC was in need of being replaced . . and from there we were helped in getting the financing needed and an appointment was quickly set up, our HVAC was installed and we had air conditioning once again. The install was so smooth. Nick and Martine were so professional and courteous and worked hard from the moment they got there to make sure everything was done/installed correctly. They both were very efficient and even vacuumed after the job was done!! The next day I had to call the office to set up an inspection . . and even Rebecca was friendly, courteous and set up the inspection within the next day too. All along the way/throughout the process we received emails and/or texts . . to remind or let us know that someone was on the way and even a picture to help ensure our safety of who to expect. Horne has replaced both of our air conditioning units and both experiences have been great!! I would highly recommend this company anytime. They are quick, professional, courteous, efficient and each time . . a job well done!!"

"I called GSM inquiring about their HVAC and insulation services. I also asked if I could have someone perform a Manual J load calculation (surprise to me, the Manual J calc was free!) as I felt that my existing heat pump was sized too small for my home (2.5 ton dual-zone single stage heat pump for 2200sq ft 2-story house). We agreed on an appointment time, and they sent Kelly out to my house. Kelly was very nice and professional, and did a thorough job explaining what all could be done and what my options were. Due to having so little room to work inside of the mechanical closest, you would have to remove the air handler completely just to wrap all of the duct work. Since I would be removing the old air handler that was 8 years old anyway, I decided to replace the entire system with a new Amana 3-ton 18 SEER dual-zoned heat pump. Kelly also told me they could seal up the hole & the mechanical closet so that hot air could no longer enter that space as well. I agreed to their quote, and they came out a week later (it would've been sooner but GSM wanted to make sure that the new system was designed properly, so they had to architect and design the layout of the new equipment to fit the small space) to do the work. Owen and Jason came out to perform the installation. They were both very professional & thorough, and they did an excellent job with the swap out & installation of the new heat pump. When GSM told me that it would take two days to do the work, I was prepared to be miserably hot trying to sleep at night with no air conditioning. Not only did GSM bring a portable AC unit for me use that evening so that wouldn't be the case, Owen and Jason actually got the heat pump wired and working the first day so I had full AC that evening, and the portable unit wasn't needed! They also insulated the attic space & mechanical closet with spray foam and foam board so the hot attic air will no longer be an issue. All in all, my experience with GSM has been great! They've been easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, they did an excellent job with the installation of the new equipment, and now I can rest easy knowing that everything has been taken care of!"

"The owner Mike made the call. Very professional and knowledgable. This house is new to us and we were quite sure the units had never had any maintenance done on air conditioners. The house was built in 2001. When the upstairs unit stopped cooling we called Accu-Rite. Got the name from our neighbor who had used them and was very pleased. We would use them again especially when we replace units. Would highly recommend. The company doesn't advertise much as the owner wants to build his reputation on quality work for his customers and word of mouth business. He took the time to answer all our questions and never ever tried to sell us more than was necessary or appropriate.
