His work was perfect, he took extra care to assure a perfect fit and his price was reasonable. Ted followed up Tom make sure there were no leaks after the work was done. "Our experience What a nightmare This company was to deal with. Every step had issues from the wrong shape of the pool to the driveway that was majorly damaged and not fixed. They brought dirt in with broken glass and garbage in. We had to physically pick up the glass and trash so we could have the new sod. They left 6 feet of dirt in the yard that was starting to slide in the water. The project manager said that he wasn’t a project manager, so dealing with him was horrible. He was so rude all the time. He had no idea of what was happening. The workers would ask my husband what they were supposed to do and luckily he could communicate in Spanish. We managed the workers ourselves. What a nightmare and not worth it."

Where you drain a hot tub largely depends on local regulations, but you must not drain chemically treated water where it can damage the environment. Direct the water toward a sanitary sewer drain that will take it to a treatment facility. If your lawn has a dedicated drainage area that’s free from plants and foundations, you can likely drain it there. Avoid storm drains, as the hot tub water will enter waterways and could hurt aquatic life. Likewise, do not pour it out directly on any public land or where it can get into your neighbors’ property. 

It’s less expensive to leave your hot tub on all the time, though you’ll want to keep it at a reduced temperature. How much you use the hot tub is also a factor. You’ll want to keep it at a constant temperature between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit for weekly or daily use, then bump it up right before you get in. If you don’t plan to use your hot tub that often, you can turn it off as long as there’s no risk of freezing.
