"I just registered my company on Angies list today 9/30/12 in order to be able to read the false reveiw about my company that was brought to my attention 9/26/12. I was unaware of the 9 year old review from 9/18/03. All our work is based on referrals and I had not been on Angies list until now. I would like to be very clear. My company: Artistic Pools Inc. did not even build the fountain in question. If there was a permit pulled you will not find our name on it. I was contacted to rennovate the fountain because it was leaking. We repaired the leak, resurfaced the inside and added a filter tank to the equiptment, repaced the center nozzle with a larger brass one than what was there. After completed my wife and I met with the owners at 8:00 pm on a week night to discuss filter cleaning and chemical care, suppling them with a test kit. We offer pool spa or fountain weekly maintenance and care, however they declined that service. Approximately 10 days later I was asked to come back and look at the nozzle, because "water was shooting out the sides of the nozzle" When I arrived I found a severly corrroded, now green brass nozzle with holes in it ! Standing 6-10 feet away the CLOROX that was dumped into the water by the gallon was burning my eyes. We had clearly never told her to dump that in there, but she said she thought it was best to kill any algea or bacteria. I told her that I would actually try to call the supplier out to look at it but it was very unlikly that they would do anything for us. I then told her that if they would not that I would purchase a new one, give it to her at my actual cost and not charge her any labor for the install. I felt sorry for her because she made a mistake, we did not. She insisted on a free replacement, took me to small claims court. It was dismissed and she was awarded Nothing. She appealed that decision and got a few hundred dollars from me the second time. ABout one month after that the forth contractor was over there putting in a new, different style nozzle. It is very disappointing to even have to post this response to tell the whole story. After reading this I would never read a review and place much emphasis on it without talking to both parties. The good and amazing part of this story is that I still see this women every couple of weeks because she works at a local supplier of ours. we are as friendly as can be to one another and have long conversations. I do not hold grudges. I think that after some time had gone by she really felt bad for putting me through that. Sincerly, Bill Clawson Artistic Pools Inc."
