Kannapolis Handyman

Summer/Fall 2023: I hired Jason to inspect the heat tape that was on my water lines in my crawlspace. He told me they looked good and that he had unplugged them for the summer. I didn't ask him to do this but he stated that he would come back in the fall and plug them back up. As winter is approaching, I called and texted but he wouldn't respond. No response at all. I hired another handyman. He showed me pictures of the mess Jason left behind. He had torn away the insulation on my water pipes and left it lying all over the bottom of my crawlspace. The new handyman, replaced the insulation, cleaned up Jason mess and reconnected my heat tape so that I could rest easy knowing my pipes won't freeze this winter. I had relied on the good reviews when I hired Jason. Beware! Consistency isn't Jason's strong suit.

Jason is far more than a handyman. He is a tradesman. He and Scott were always on time and worked full days, everyday. Jason is very focused and organized which makes it possible for he and Scott to get so much done in a day. What stuck out the most though, besides the beautiful work, ability to solve problems as they came up, and the fair price, is the comfort we felt with these two guys in our home. My husband has been in the building industry for 40 years and was impressed by their quality of work and the term "handyman" doesn't do Jason justice as he and Scott are both total tradesman. You can see by the pictures that they did a great deal of work and it all turned out beautifully. Thank you Jason and your helper Scott.

Jason was great to work with. He was polite and punctual. He even cleaned up the area before he left. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing handyman services.

Jason knew what he was doing and was efficient. I now have a floor that isn't sagging anymore. I would definitely ask him back to fix other things.

We could not be more pleased with the work performed both inside the house and in the crawlspace. The HVAC ducts definitely needed cleaned and every detail was done completely to our satisfaction. Laying a 6 mil black plastic vapor barrier can be a difficult job in a 1796 SF single story home build in 2004, especially working around a huge air handler and other equipment found in a crawl space. All work performed was done professionally and at a price below all 6 other companies who gave me a quote for the job.

It went great. Will hire again when I have my next handyman list completed.

Jason was fantastic. His eye for detail is impeccable. He listened to what I said I wanted and offered helpful advice for adjustments here and there. He was prompt, courteous and professional. Next time I need some help with various projects, he'll be the first call I make.

It took him a couple of months to get it done. He did excellent work, especially the bases. It doesn't show where the columns were cut. He had to buy the columns and the paint. He had to sand them and put the plaster in. It was a good price. He was responsive when he came to do the bed. Getting him to do the bases was the hard part. He didn't call me I had to call him. I would use him again.
